About travel in Qatar

Qatar is a small peninsula on the Arabian Gulf, and almost all visitors base themselves in its capital, Doha. The city has grown rapidly into a modern hub with a waterfront Corniche, world-class museums and Hamad International Airport, one of the region’s major transit points.

Beyond Doha, day trips reach the sand dunes and Inland Sea at Khor Al Adaid in the south and the historic Al Zubarah fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in the north-west.
