1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Traveler," "you," or "your") and Gateera ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing, browsing, searching, or booking through Gateera.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, our Cancellation & Refund Policy, and our Visa Assistance Terms.

2. Nature & Scope of Gateera's Multi-Service Platform & Content Providers

Gateera is an independent online travel agency (OTA) and comprehensive travel platform engineered to provide travelers worldwide with unified, transparent access to four core pillars of global travel:

• Hotels & Accommodations: Real-time discovery of, and hand-off to partners for reservation of, over 2,000,000 verified hotel properties, boutique resorts, private villas, and serviced apartments worldwide.
• Flights & Airfare: Real-time discovery of commercial passenger flights, with booking completed by our flight partners, across hundreds of scheduled airlines and global distribution networks.
• Tours & Activities: Curated sightseeing excursions, guided day tours, cultural experiences, adventure passes, and attraction tickets.
• Visa Assistance & Travel Documentation: Expert consular guidance, electronic visa (e-Visa) preparation, document verification checklists, and application support.

3. Service-Specific Booking Conditions

A. Hotel & Accommodation Bookings

When reserving accommodations via Gateera:

• Room descriptions, photographs, star ratings, and amenity listings are verified feeds provided directly by property partners and global hotel aggregators.
• Special requests (such as high floors, non-smoking rooms, early check-in, or adjoining rooms) are transmitted to the property but cannot be unconditionally guaranteed until confirmed by property reception upon check-in.
• Local municipal levies (such as European city tourist taxes or Dubai Tourism Dirham fees) are determined by local municipal laws and are payable either during booking checkout or directly upon property arrival as indicated in your rate breakdown.

B. Flight Bookings & Airline Carriage Rules

When searching or purchasing airline tickets:

• Name Matching: All traveler names must be entered exactly as they appear in the passenger's valid international passport. Airlines strictly prohibit passenger name substitutions once tickets are ticketed.
• Conditions of Carriage: Air transportation is subject to the operating carrier's official Conditions of Carriage, baggage restrictions, check-in deadlines, and international aviation treaties (including the Montreal Convention).
• Schedule Changes: Airlines maintain operational discretion over flight schedules, aircraft assignments, and terminal gates. You are strongly advised to reconfirm your flight status 24 hours prior to departure.
• Transit & Entry Requirements: Travelers bear sole responsibility for verifying transit visa requirements, health declarations, and entry eligibility for all transit hubs and final destinations.

C. Tours, Activities & Excursions

When booking guided tours, excursions, or attraction admissions:

• Activity vouchers must be presented in digital or printed format at the designated departure or meeting point specified in your voucher.
• Participants must satisfy all specified health, age, fitness, and dress-code requirements (e.g. religious sites, scuba diving, high-altitude treks).
• Operators reserve the right to reschedule or cancel outdoor activities in the event of severe weather, natural emergencies, or safety risks, in which case full refunds or rescheduled dates are provided in accordance with our Refund Policy.

D. Visa Assistance & Travel Documentation

When utilizing Gateera's visa consultation and application facilitation services:

• Gateera provides document verification, application formatting, and procedural guidance based on current consular directives.
• Sole Sovereign Authority: Gateera is an independent travel agency, not an embassy or sovereign government ministry. The authority to grant or deny any visa, electronic travel authorization (ETA), or entry permit rests exclusively with the sovereign immigration authorities of the destination country.

4. Transparent Pricing & Currency Conversion

Gateera is dedicated to transparent pricing with zero hidden booking fees:

• 12 Global Currencies: We support dynamic currency display in AED, USD, EUR, GBP, SAR, INR, PKR, OMR, KWD, QAR, BHD, and CNY using live interbank conversion algorithms.
• Total Price Transparency: The final checkout breakdown clearly itemizes base room/flight rates, mandatory government taxes, resort fees, and service components prior to payment confirmation.

5. Cancellations, Modifications & Refunds

Cancellations and amendments are administered in strict compliance with the fare or room rule selected at the time of reservation. Many rates featured on Gateera offer Free Cancellation up to 24–48 hours prior to arrival. 6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Gateera solely for legitimate personal travel inquiries and reservations. You expressly agree not to:

• Use automated scrapers, crawlers, data-mining bots, or headless automation to extract pricing or inventory data without prior written authorization.
• Circumvent, disable, or tamper with security protocols, rate limiters, or booking validation routines.
• Conduct speculative, false, or fraudulent reservations or outbound link clicks.
• Introduce malicious software, trojans, worms, or denial-of-service vectors to our infrastructure.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The Site, its source code, databases, design aesthetics, UI components, typography pairings, logos, and trademarks are proprietary to Gateera and protected by international copyright and trademark laws. Third-party brand names, airline insignias, and hotel logos belong to their respective proprietors and are used strictly for editorial reference and service identification.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Gateera, its directors, employees, and technology partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from supplier operational failures, airline schedule changes, weather cancellations, sovereign visa decisions, or force majeure events.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Dubai, UAE.
