“My new fav stay in penang”
Everything was beyond spectacular considering how much we paid. The hotel is brand spanking new and the facilities are great. Location is also perfect

“Very good”
Disliked: The air con vent is right on the ceiling and the direction of air cannot be changed so it was blowing right at the bed, which made all the nice things about the hotel seem not worthwhile. The air con was very loud too. I think the hotel should definitely improve this with like a modern wall unit.

“Great Location, Friendly Staffs and Comfortable Bed - would definitely stay again.”
Liked: 1926 Heritage Hotel were in good location - about 25min walk to Georgetown. It is also 5min run (if you like running) to Gurney Drive. The staffs are helpful, friendly and always there to help in anyway they possibly can.

“Not value”
Liked: Nice pool, and pretty good breakfast selection
Disliked: The rooms are small, there are limited loungers by the pool, and our balcony area was in poor condition with pieces of paint on the ground.

“Stunning boutique hotel”
Wonderful service and attention to detail in so many areas. The rooms are delightful and spacious. Location is just outside the main part of old Georgetown - 10 mins walk and you are in the thick of the cultural areas. Lots of dining options around. Really loved our stay here.

“Idyllic, wish we could have spent more time at the hotel”
Liked: Loved the building itself, it's beautifully restored and maintained. The staff was friendly and courteous, and helped us with all our requests, and our room was comfortable and had all required amenities

“Excellent service”
Highly recommend this 5 star hotel centrally located near all the good eateries abd attractions. Would like to commend Front desk manager, Khairy for his warm, professional and hospitable service, helpful, efficient and informative too

“Overall, a very comfortable stay and I’d happily come back”
Liked: Really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was very clean and newly restored/refurbished since Ascott took over about 5 months ago, maintaining the original structure of the property. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I loved having a water filter in the room, would just have been nice to have chilled water too. The pool was clean and well maintained, and open until 10pm, while the gym was actually open 24 hours and pretty well equipped. Great location too, with lots of eateries and two massage places right next door. Ghee Hiang and Him Heang are also within walking distance, and Grab was easy to get. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were all very friendly. One staff member even came back to correct himself after initially telling us the pool was open 24 hours — a small thing, but appreciated the effort!.
