Disliked: Very disappointing experience at Hotel Regency. We had booked the hotel through Booking.com, and there was no clear information on the booking page that unmarried couples were not allowed to check in. When we arrived, we were denied check-in because of this policy. We were also asked to pay an additional amount if we wanted to proceed with the stay. If the hotel has such a policy, it should be clearly mentioned on the booking platform before guests make a reservation and payment. Asking for additional money at the time of check-in, after the booking has already been made, is extremely disappointing and makes the whole experience feel unfair and misleading. I would strongly suggest that the hotel and Booking.com clearly communicate such restrictions upfront so customers can make an informed decision before booking and travelling to the property.

We are married couple & our Sir name didn’t match obviously we are not siblings that’s why no Same Sir name …bcoz of that they charged us 1000 rs more bcoz they made wife’s entry as visitor as a hotel policy….and we are 33+ age ….We mentioned them that we can prove that we are married but just give us chance but only their demand was to show marriage certificate & behaviour was rude on the name of hotel policy and were rigid & by taking extra 1000 rs, they entered wife as visitor….How pathetic it is….Even then….room & cleanliness was ok ok & bathrooms flush out was not working & we paid for that room almost double 1600+ room @ 3300+
