6080 Design Hotel by Eskape Collection

Liked: Unbelievable for the price

Disliked: Balcony was dirty from debris from construction across the street

Liked: Value

Disliked: Small pool that closes too early

Liked: The location, very clean and the price for what you receive is very reasonable

Disliked: The size of the rooms are huge

Liked: The staff were exceptionally helpful with every request.

Disliked: Adjusting temperature in the room is difficult with thermostat, so the room was rather warm even at night.

Disliked: The bed was uncomfortable

Liked: Property is misleading in their wording. Please be aware that none of the rooms are beach view. Although my room stated “Oceanside” it was not. The hotel is across the street from the hotels that are on the ocean side.

Disliked: I was charged a $57 late fee after requesting a later checkout. The front desk attendant stated they could not offer it but the hotel was not even at full capacity. I had already been mislead by the room wording of "Oceanside" and had to go all the way down stairs because the phone in the room did not work. The toilet wasn't also flushing properly and the safe in the room battery was dying so I didn't use it because I didn't want my items getting stuck so I had to leave my purse and other valuables hope no one would bother it. The shower needs a deep cleaning around the wall area. I overlooked all of this and was also inconvenienced but when it came to the late checkout, I was immediately charged. I am a long standing Marriott Bonvoy member and was trying out a new hotel and this hotel made sure they did not gain my business by being greedy. In all of my years, I've never been charged a late fee at Marriott and will definitely make sure I don't try out something new due to this experience.

Liked: Our three-day stay at 6080 Design Hotel was great overall, starting with a room that was clean, nice, and spacious enough that we never felt like we were hovering over each other. The location couldn't have been better, putting us just a quick three-minute walk from the beach and within easy walking distance of local shops and dining. We also discovered a huge bonus: the free local trolley right nearby, which made exploring further out completely hassle-free.

Disliked: The only downside to our stay was the tiny rooftop pool, which crowded up quickly with just six couples up there in the evening, but everything else about the experience was wonderful.

Liked: Everything

Disliked: Parking rate
