“Great alternative to Palermo”

“Great location but hotel needs a full renovation.”
Liked: Great location. Super helpful & friendly staff. - they helped us book restaurants which was great coz the wifi was very spotty
Disliked: Very very old. Thin walls - we could hear the person in the next room coughing, walking, washing, peeing… The floors creaked like crazy whenever anyone walked down the corridor. The bed was very old and hard and had a rut in it from people sleeping on it. The tv did not have a single channel that was in English. The walls were all grubby and damaged. It needed a really good clean. There was terrible lighting, even in the bathroom. The power goes off when you leave the room so you can’t leave your devices to charge up. Wifi worked then it didn’t, then it worked again but never fast.

“Central and beautiful hotel with slightly dated rooms.”
Liked: The hotel is beautiful from the outside and very centrally located. The breakfast had a lot of variety.
Disliked: I am 99% sure certain I choose (and paid for) the breakfast for the 10 days I stayed at the hotel, but there's no record of this. The rooms are a hit dated. For example, there are no electrical outlets by the bed and the TVs are a bit small. I really enjoyed my stay and looked forward to the breakfast every day. It was very disappointing that the swimming pool was closed considering this is so prominent on the website. There are some rules (some of which were not enforceable, like no food in the room and no ironing). However, I would stay again.

“Very disappointed”
Liked: Location
Disliked: This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. The installation, decoration, service, room amenities were very deficient. Not even cups or coffee and tea in room… not even body lotion or rope or extra bedding when is cold. I hope they can rate (in term of the stars) properly to expect differently.

“Nice hotel with nice staff, perfect location, but breakfast is not tasty.”
Liked: Perfect location, helpful staff, good beds, everything works.
Disliked: Breakfast.The water smelled and tasted of chlorine, likely from the public water supply. The orange juice was very artificial. The bread was tasteless. The tea was tasteless. For that kind of money, you'll get a delicious breakfast outside. OR,It's advisable not to go to breakfast thirsty. Instead, drink water or tea that you buy outside and take it with you to breakfast; otherwise, you'll get very thirsty.
