88 Fine Hotel

The AC wasn’t cold so I had to use a fan. The bathroom door was hard to open and close and required a lot of force. Also, the towels smelled bad.

Facility fauty,

The accommodation was excellent. If I have business here again, I definitely plan to book here again. It’s close to the airport — no need to rush in the morning, just 10 minutes away.

The accommodation has a tub, but the curtain doesn’t close all the way. When you shower, people outside the room can see everything. The outlets in the room are bad; the hair dryer doesn’t work when plugged in and I had to plug it into an outlet outside the room that has no mirror. The room layout is odd — the shower area is in the middle, there’s no exhaust fan, and if you shower for a long time the air gets stale. The water pressure is weak and the water isn’t warm. The holder for the bidet hose in the bathroom is broken and wasn’t repaired, so you have to leave it on the floor. The sink is outside the bathroom, so when you wash your face or brush your teeth water splashes onto the floor. The power goes out frequently at night. On the night we stayed our room lost power once and a friend’s room went out three times. After the third outage the staff asked them to switch rooms, but it was a big disruption because it was late and they had to move. The staff don’t seem to care about guests — they act like indifferent employees. The building stairs are very difficult: steep, tall and narrow, so carrying luggage up and down is dangerous. The staff didn’t tell us where our room was — they just walked into the building and went upstairs, passing by us coming down. Guests had to ask where their rooms were before they were told. Overall, the main issues are with the staff. The owner may not realize the staff behave this way, and the rooms should be checked regularly.

The room had a very musty smell when I first walked in. I was suspicious when I saw a staff member carrying an odor spray — now I understand why. The ceiling was leaking and water was dripping into a dirty sink, so I had to ask staff to clean it. In the end the musty smell was unbearable and I had to request a room change. The new room was better than the first, but still had a faint musty odor.

Good place, worth money

The receptionist was very very helpful. She picked up our bags to the second floor, she was strong as hell. She also prepared coffee and breakfast for us in the morning. She was cute too. Cheers receptionist!
