lyf Bugis Singapore managed by The Ascott Ltd

I'm happy with the nano room I booked for myself for 3D2N. I appreciate that it's right next to Fortune Center and very close to the MRT. I took the MRT/bus/walked around and didn't use Grab at all given the location. The room was nano as the name says but was equipped with everything I needed. The staff was super helpful with a quick check-in/checkout upon my arrival/departure. As a repeat Ascott customer, I would love to stay here or at any of the other Ascott properties. in future again.

My second stay in lyf, very recommend for single/ group of friends

Liked: Location: Good location 8-12 min to subway, many eateries around the hotel as the Nanyang Art University is just across the road. It is a safe neighbourhood.

Disliked: I paid over US$1500 for four nights, knowing it is F1 weekend in Singapore. however if a hotel cannot live up to that kind of price range, they should not just charge due to price demand and supply. Room: The room is ok, the bathroom is horrible. This claimed to be a four star hotel and my room type is not the cheapest. It is a larger room. The shower is linked the the toilet bowl with no door bow curtain separating the two area. There is no ledge on the floor to attend to stop water from flowing to the toilet or to outside is the the bathroom. To avoid this, I had to turn off the shower 5 times during a shower session. Each time I put shampoo or conditioner, soap, I had to turn off the shower to let the water drain. It was a horrible experience showering like at a camp. Breakfast: Breakfast area is messy and dirty. Non appetising. Co-living: this branch is small, the gym is linked to laundry machines without doors, thus while you are doing exercise, you are actually breathing the air from laundry. The work space is small, it is the same place where you wait for car, and also where one can supposedly cook,not funcional.

Liked: Food and cocktails were excellent and staff so kind and helpful. The food service in the middle child is slower but relaxed which added to the experience, nothing is thrown up to you

Disliked: Only challenge was storage in the room. Had to put my case on the floor in front of the door. Which meant climbing over it every time I left the room.

Hi i am a local Singaporean and my wife is a pr of singapore. When doing check in my wife forgetten to bring his nric the front desk like don't show any respect and didn't offer a solution just say go back and take if not you can't stay here. But as a Singaporean she have pr in Singpass why not. We have to travel back from bugis to Serangoon to collect. This shouldn't be the like of service by reject a local pr and not offering help

It has single rooms, compact & comfortable. Great location, walkable around the city.

Although the price for 1 night for a nano room was really high due to F1 moto competition, the room was unexpectedly well organized, even if very small. It was my first time to stay in such a small room, but for a short stay I think it was perfect. Good amenities, comfortable bed. I will book again but first check if there are special events as the price was really too much.
