“Exceptional”
Convenient location, clean and comfortable, and pleasant views. Overall the stay was very satisfying. The location is convenient and very walkable, with easy movement around the surrounding area. The room size was comfortable, the environment was clean, and the hot water supply was satisfactory. Facilities and services were complete, staff were friendly, and the views added to the comfort of the stay. Overall, the value for money was quite good.

“A lovely little stay”
Very close to Yilan Transfer Station, about a 10-minute walk. There are several restaurants right across the street from the apartment. It’s the kind of apartment complex where you check in yourself — a small suite within a residential community. The room was very comfortable and had a small living area. The loft’s ceiling is quite low, but the loft is purely for sleeping. Stayed two nights and it was very nice. The price was also a great value. I would consider staying here again next time I go to Yilan.

“Cheap~ gone.”
Self check-in. The host explains the procedure through a messaging app and you should read the house rules in advance; the host doesn’t meet guests in person. You pick up the keys from the mailbox, use the elevator card and the room key card yourself—like a little game—which is fine given the low price. Self-service is reasonable. The room is a loft. The sleeping area is on the second level and the ceiling there is only about 140 cm high. At my height of just over 170 cm I had to bend over and keep my head down to get into bed. One time I got up and went downstairs to use the bathroom and forgot how low the ceiling was, so I bumped my head. My child, who is 150 cm, also has to duck to get onto the bed. When we checked in the air conditioner was broken. The host responsibly arranged for someone to fix it the next day, but the whole first night without AC was quite stuffy. Even though it was repaired later, I still have to deduct points for poor maintenance. The washbasin faucet has very strong water pressure and can easily spray and make the floor soaking wet. The towel rack above the toilet seems warped from long use. When using the balcony washing machine to spin-dry, there was no drain hose directed to the drain, so after the spin cycle water flowed all over the balcony. Luckily we didn’t wash clothes there, otherwise the balcony would have filled with water. None of this is a dealbreaker given the cheap rate; you can tolerate it for one night without any problem.

“Well-equipped little nest”
Overall clean and compact. If you're used to high-ceilinged townhouses you might find it a bit different — the space feels like a tall room split into an upper and lower level. The downstairs corner has a separately partitioned area which I thought was quite fun; it became a little play corner for the kids. I really liked the dehumidifier, the washing machine, and the small balcony. It rained a lot during this visit, so we came in damp. We washed a few items and relied on the dehumidifier, which worked wonders — everything was dry by the next day! There’s also heating and cooling, and the soundproofing is good. It was easy to keep a comfortable temperature and you couldn’t hear the rain outside, so we slept peacefully. The loft bed isn’t large and there’s only a small bedside lamp, so it’s really a “go to bed and sleep” setup. If you get up in the middle of the night be careful not to bump your head on the ceiling! The host was friendly and checked in on how our stay was going — overall very nice. It’s also close to the delicious Shisong, and the neighborhood is a school district, so it’s simple and quiet. Also, when we left luggage with the attendant we met an older gentleman who was warm and classy — that left a good impression.

“Quite excellent.”
The place was very clean overall! If I had to nitpick, only the remote had some dust 🤣🤣 The host mentioned the water heater has a small capacity, so taking a hot shower can be a bit inconvenient — we didn’t experience that ourselves because we went to the hot springs. The space is fairly large; if you squeeze in, you could sleep a lot of people. The mattress is very comfortable. There are plenty of outlets and Wi‑Fi. There’s a fridge, an electric kettle, 4 bottles of mineral water, 2 tea bags, bath towels of two sizes, and about 5 hangers. The room is in a residential building and is one of the few units on the floor facing the main road. There’s some noise, but the morning light is excellent. Overall it’s really excellent 😍😍 I even wanted to ask if they have a monthly rental option! Oh, for friends driving: parking is NT$200 per night. If you can, I’d recommend coming by scooter — they do provide scooter parking.

“Affordable and convenient self-service.”
Pros: 1. The host replies and communicates seriously, so you don't have to worry about inconvenience from self check-in. 2. Great location; there are PX Mart and supermarkets a few blocks away. 3. The room matches the photos and is clean. 4. You can reserve a paid parking space, which saves the hassle of finding parking. Cons: Because I stayed in a loft this time, the ceiling was low and you couldn't stand upright. (I later learned the host also offers units on one level, which you might consider.)
