Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing stay. The property advertised air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, but neither was provided during our stay. The staff were also not helpful when we raised our concerns. The biggest problem was the mosquitoes. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room. Although a mosquito net was provided, the situation was very uncomfortable and unhygienic, and my children were bitten during the night. The water pressure was also extremely low, which made showering difficult. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this property to families travelling with young children. The facilities advertised should be available to guests, and the mosquito problem needs serious attention.

If it says in room description, "shower' then I expected it in the room not shared with 4 other rooms. We were unwilling to accept the bedroom with shared facilities, it was dark anyway. We took the balcony room, it was double the price but very nice.

Liked: Built like a hotel but run more like a homestay. The owners are really lovely and will give you such great advice if you're an independent traveller. We booked budget room and the owners gave us an upgrade to one with a better window no extra charge. Great place to operate out of when seeing Haputale. Exceptional views from balcony.

Disliked: The room had seen better days. Walls had dead insect and mosquito remains around the bed. I'm sure if you speak to the owners they will show you other rooms. Water pressure in shared bathroom isn't great.
