“Funky place to stay just outside of CBD”

We really enjoyed our stay here - the foyer and rooms were funky, though the King room we had was a little on the small side. There are some great bars around the hotel and it's walking distance into the city. They also have a deal with a gym around 600m from the hotel. Would definitely come back and stay.

“Fun, Funky Room”

Check in/out - smooth process. Glad they could store my bags until the room was available for check in. Staff: Friendly and helpful. I do wish they explained more about the cards to use for the elevator and to turn the lights on. I was completely unaware of this. The room: Fun and funky. Love the colour theme. I do wish there were some more basic amenities - bowls, utensils etc. Overall: Can recommend and would go back again.

“Incredibly poor cleaning and staff standards”

The cleanliness standards of this hotel are appalling for its age. It’s a real shame as the hotel is well located. The staff are rude and lack any accountability. We moved to two different rooms all with horrible cleanliness, mould, hair and people’s belongings left in the rooms. When raised with the staff they were horrible and said that there was nothing they could do as “we would just find something else wrong”. Would strongly recommend avoiding this one.

“If you are lucky with the room.”

Expensive room for 2 nights and it facing a wall with the outside street level closer to the bottom of the window. No fresh air, window doesn t open. Reception manager raising voice after asking for explaination of why they could not find a note in which I requested in their system about having the 2 twin beds as one bed. Told me other rooms acailable are more expensive than the one I booked. Make your own conclusions.
