“Comfortable”

We enjoyed our stay and the bed was so comfortable. The hotel is location is convenient but there are a few things I’d look out for, we ended up upgrading because our first room was tiny which meant we didn’t get the view we wanted. Also we’d recommend that the hotel management provide seating downstairs foe the staff but also guests as the lobby is on level 3. It would make things more comfortable for guests waiting for their transport when it’s uber hot outside.

“Perfect! Can’t wait to come back”

I booked AKI last minute as our Airbnb had cancelled the week before our trip. From start to finish, staff were attentive and even gave us a room upgrade. They provided some great recommendations such as a local dim sum restaurant, as well as a hotpot restaurant (which was the highlight of all the food we tried). AKI is in a great location, with either a short walk, tram ride, bus ride or MRT ride from wherever you want to go. Rooms were spotless and the bed was also comfy. We can’t wait to come back!

“Comfy room”

Room is not as big as expected but comfy to stay in a tidy and clean room. Security is good with considerable facilities and privacy. Staff is nice and supportive.

“Not a 5 star hotel”

First night of staying - the hair conditioner bottle is empty - completely empty. Second night of staying - they took away the bath mat without replacing it. Wouldn't walk the street to or from Wan Chai station at night, it's pretty quiet and doesn't feel safe. Overall I don't think this is a 5 star hotel, a 4-star is more appropriate.
