Liked: The location is great, very close to the bus and ferry stops, with lots of restaurants and some convenience stores near by. The staff is friendly. However, for the price, I can’t justify it. The room is ok, but when turning on the AC I had to turn it off and open the window as a dingy smell appeared. At night, even with the windows closed, you can hear the noise coming from the street. And the bathroom is lacking, specially the bathroom shower which is very poorly kept, there were no handles to open the shower doors, which by the way were not easy to move as they were fidgety. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay again in this place.

Liked: It has been well over two months since my stay at Albergo Maccotta, and although I am writing this review a bit late, I still hold onto wonderful, heartwarming memories. First of all, the location is fantastic; situated in the city center, it offers easy access to everywhere, and the area feels completely safe even at night. I was also extremely satisfied with the breakfast, which offered a wide variety of delicious options. Every single staff member—including the housekeeping team—was incredibly kind and always helpful, truly putting the guest's needs first. They kindly stored my luggage for three days while I visited Erice (thank you so much!) and even allowed me to extend my checkout time by an hour on my last day (thank you again!). I want to express my deep gratitude to the kind and warm-hearted staff of Trapani, especially Pietro. 😍 Whenever I returned to the hotel after a day of sightseeing, Pietro would answer my questions with genuine care, and he would always come by to greet me warmly while I was having breakfast. I am also very grateful to Giuseppe and Manuele; though they might have seemed a bit reserved at first, they treated me with such kindness and warmth. Finally, a big thank you to Valentina, Maila, and Nana for always greeting me with a smile. If I ever visit Trapani again, I will definitely stay at Albergo Maccotta. Grazie mille😉😍🤩
