Liked: Hotel was fine but scheduling issue kind of ruined our plans

Disliked: Lists 3 pm check in, 12 pm check out. We arrived at 4:30. They didn’t have any rooms ready, blamed it on 4 pm check outs, told us “if we had been here at 3 pm” they would have. But then they are knocking on our door at 10 am to check out, not 4 pm.

“Rundown, overpriced and poorly managed”

Disliked: Everything is falling apart. It's like the owners have already got their money out of it and have packed it in. People are still paying so they're keeping it open. They have two elevators, one of which actually works! Plus, the one that does work is incredibly slow. Stairs only have an exit. There's no way to use the stairs to go up! What?! Put a card reader on the stairwells managers! Ridiculous! It was pretty dirty too. Linens were clean but room looks rundown and in heavy need of updates. Overall, don't stay here. A motel 6 would probably be a better bet!

“Never staying in an Aloft again.”

Liked: The front desk employee was great and did what she could. She was responsive to our questions and requests. Seeing her interact with other hotel guests suggests to me she understands the hospitality business.

Disliked: We had to change rooms due to certain lights and the phone not working. The new room was okay but the bathroom was not properly cleaned. As it was getting late and we had already relocated rooms once we made due but it's clearly an aging hotel. Then, only one of two treadmills was operational. Marriott can do better.

Liked: I liked the pool table in the lobby. I liked the whole place.

Disliked: I liked everything about my stay. The only negative was we had an ironing board but no iron. But we were on vacation, so wrinkles didn’t matter. If we had asked for an iron, I’m sure they would have supplied one.
