Liked: The place is dreamy. It was a beautiful room with a beautiful view. The pool was very nice which we used daily. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. We enjoyed the breakfast.
Disliked: The bathroom had a smell coming out of it. We kept it closed. Also, the shower water was not hot. It was lukewarm on one day and it was barely worm the other day.

Liked: This hotel ruined our honeymoon. It was extremely dirty. Black mold was growing everywhere, there were ants, the hot water was brown, door handle was broken, and overall very dirty and room looked nothing like the photos. The hotel owner will definitely reply here with some sarcastic message saying it is apart of the style or straight up lie. It is NOT.

“Above average”
Liked: Distance to walking into busy area and hiking - was in between. The young manager was very pleasant, brought breakfast and carried my luggage.
Disliked: Trying to find it was a challenge. There is renovation taking place on some of the units. My unit was beat up and hopefully was on the list top be renovated.

“Great View & Vlaue, But”
The hotel has a great common pool with the caldera view. Rooms are spacious too. however we have encountered a few issues- 1. The names, description and sizes of the rooms are all incorrect in agoda, so please be mindful if you are booking via agoda. maybe call them and check, we did not get the room we wanted and were stuck with what were provided as there was no vacancy 2. It more a airbnb setup than a suite or a hotel. no proper entry or reception. We initially struggled to locate the hotel upon arrival. Then somoene guided over the phone and keys were left inside the room with a self check in. Like many other Santo hotels, be mindful that it has a fair bit of strais to go down to if you are travelling with lugguage and kids.

“Great Caldera View”
The view is great and worth all the steep steps! Downside is the room is very old, sheets and towels were worn out. Aside from Shampoo, shower gel and hand soap no other toiletries provided. No slippers as well. Breakfast is freshly made if that would help.
