Hotel staff is not friendly

I’ve never seen a place where 100% of the staff—from the receptionists to the cleaning crew—are so highly qualified. I feel so at home here that I extended my stay from two days to a month.

I enjoyed my stay but I enjoyed the location best. There is helpful staff 24/7 at the front desk. I booked the Deluxe Double with a balcony. It is a very small room with a nice sized bathroom and small balcony. The room smells good and It's away from all the hustle and bustle of the city center. It is in no way away from all noise, there are bars and karaoke very close by but it's still quiet enough to sleep. The location is close enough to walk or grab to the city center. Cons: No laundry facility/laundry service on-site. No sheer curtain under the blackout curtains. Not enough storage space for personal belongings.

The rooms operate smoothly, are clean and beautiful, and the on-site service is excellent — nothing to complain about — but there are two small bugs that need fixing: the communication socket to reception via email/phone has packet loss and high ping, so responses are slow, and the hardware on the main door and the bathroom door has high friction, so guests (especially women) have to apply a lot of hand force to open/close them, essentially brute-forcing, especially the main door. Fix those two issues and the hotel deserves 10/10. Right now it’s 9/10.

They checked me into a room that didn't match the photos posted, then tried to make me pay extra to upgrade the room.

Three nights at the hotel were awful. The rooms have no soundproofing, so you can hear every noise from the room next door and from outside. Rain hitting the corrugated roof at the back was roaring all night, and the wind kept slamming the neighboring awning as if there was a storm. I stayed three days but toilet paper and drinking water were only provided for one day; when supplies ran out I had to go down to reception to ask for more. The room has no air conditioning, so the air is very humid. After one noisy night because of the rain on the metal roof I asked to change rooms, but reception refused and didn’t offer any solution for the remaining two nights. I think that’s bad service—forcing guests to stay the last two nights after they’ve already paid.

The room didn’t feel very clean — there were small dark spots on the pillows and similar items that hadn’t been properly washed. The shower water pressure was low, and the room felt oppressive facing the elevator. I wouldn’t highly recommend it. Soundproofing wasn’t great; it got noisy at night with lots of people, and I kept hearing the happy sounds of people coming out of the elevator. I was woken up in the morning by the noise. On the plus side, the location is decent — it’s close to Dalat Night Market and the Crazy House. If you don’t mind cleanliness issues and noise and like the location, you can consider it.
