Anantara Chiang Mai Resort

It was a great stay at the end of my trip. The shower alone made my stay amazing, great pressure! The food is really good at the restaurant too, i had dinner there and breakfast. It is a wonderful resort experience altogether.

Great Place

Had the most beautiful and relaxing stay. Everything is so clean and high-quality. The grounds are beautiful, the staff are friendly, and the breakfast is yummy!

[Pros] *The main building is truly beautiful. *The room interior is also lovely, and I appreciate the welcome service with bamboo letters. *They provided free fruit and wine. *They offered a short free massage during check-in, which, while not heavenly, was appreciated. [Cons] *The breakfast is buffet style, but there are also a la carte options. However, the taste is not very good... *I felt that the variety of food was limited. *The gym is really small and doesn't meet the quality expected of a five-star hotel. *The swimming pool is relatively small for a five-star hotel, and there aren't many beds, which I found disappointing. Additionally, they are raising koi fish on the outskirts, and I had some hygiene concerns about water contamination. *The worst part was that a wedding event was held on the day of my stay, and until late at night, there were loud noises that made it difficult to relax comfortably... I think if they had notified me in advance and provided other services, the hospitality could have been at a higher level.

Liked: The hotel it’s amazing, the location and amenities, and breakfast. Super good.

Disliked: The rooms are a little bit old and the separation between bath and shower it’s not well resolved.

Exceptional

Hotel room is nice but for the price, I couldn’t see much of a difference to the rooms in cheaper 4 star hotels. That said, staff are very helpful and attentive. Facilities are standard with a mid size swimming pool. Some facilities like the bar was closed.

Stayed for 3 nights just NOT enough! Food are awesome! Front office manager, Tuk is very responsive and took care of us really well. There was a construction that made so much noise, Tuk immediately helped us move room so we can rest and enjoyed the resort
