If you compare it to places like Andaz in Asia, you might be somewhat disappointed. Please take into consideration that it is a central city in Europe. If possible, it may be awkward to come here with a coworker, so please avoid coming for business purposes.

Liked: The hotel is quiet, beautiful, and clean, right on the canal. The staff were helpful.

Disliked: The bathroom layout was odd -- the sink and counter were on a freestanding island in the room. It was an awkward setup. Also, there were mirrors all over the room, and I did not appreciate running into my reflection continually. The breakfast cost 39 euro!

Liked: Everything was fantastic. They helped arrange flowers for my partner bday and they were very nice about everything. The room was amazing. The facilities are excellent. The location is excellent. Everything about this hotel makes you want to stay more.

Liked: Everything! The food, the staff, the amenities, being able to use the Sauna for free when i worked out, the 24 hour Gym availability, the comfortable beds and the location was exceptional! I hope to stay here again soon!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The staff deserve a special mention. Everyone we encountered was warm, friendly, professional and genuinely helpful. There was a wonderful feeling that the team actually cared about making our stay memorable, rather than simply providing good service. The location is superb. Situated right on the beautiful Prinsengracht canal, it is perfectly placed for exploring Amsterdam on foot, with so many of the city's attractions, restaurants and charming streets within easy reach. But for us, the absolute highlight was the breakfast. It was outstanding! There was an excellent variety of fresh, beautifully presented food, and the quality was consistently superb. Breakfast became something we genuinely looked forward to each morning. The hotel's Garden Room also provides a lovely setting to start the day. We also had the pleasure of dining at the hotel's restaurant, Prins & Aap, and the food was exceptional. The quality, presentation and flavours were outstanding, making it a real highlight of our stay rather than simply a convenient hotel restaurant. The restaurant's focus on local and seasonal ingredients adds to the experience. Overall, the Andaz Amsterdam combines a fantastic location, wonderful staff, beautiful surroundings and genuinely excellent food. We left feeling that the hotel had contributed enormously to our enjoyment of Amsterdam. We would happily return and would have absolutely no hesitation recommending the Andaz Amsterdam to anyone looking for a special stay in the city. Five stars from us!
