Disliked: This is the first time I wrote a bad review on Bookings for years…… Bad location! Inside a very narrow street and down the steep hill, really difficult to drive. Hard to find the front door of the hotel. We checked in at late night, everywhere looked dark and creepy! NO AC!!! Super hot in the room even with three fans working! I was politely asking to cancel the second night because my 78-year-old parents and 6-year-old son couldn’t stand the heat, but the hotel didn’t give any refund. The attitude of the manager was so bad! I was told the hotel was a monastery… think about it

Liked: Staff were very responsive to our needs, especially Margot. Location excellent. Especially liked free parking in the city.

Disliked: Toilet wasn't working so was moved to a new room for a night. Only one fan provided for two levels. In both cases, issues were addressed. Bathroom had long hairs everywhere (not ours) which left us feeling cleaning was inadequate.
