Disliked: Pet macaws are illegal and wrong. The rooms were too hot at night and we could not open a single window

Liked: The property and surrounding scenery are absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was amazing, the restaurant was excellent, and the restaurant staff were especially friendly, attentive, and provided wonderful service. We really enjoyed the food, the beautiful setting, and the hospitality at the restaurant.

Disliked: The property itself is beautiful, but Room 123 felt like it had been retrofitted into a hotel room and simply did not belong with the rest of the property. The bathroom was extremely small and tight, and stepping outside our door gave us an unattractive view of what appeared to be construction or staff housing. The patio is directly along the path to the restaurant and bar, so we had to keep it closed for privacy, and there was considerable noise throughout the evening. The curtains were broken and wouldn’t close properly, the room and robes smelled damp and musty, and most concerning, water collected around the bathroom light switch after showering—we were afraid to touch it because of the electrical risk. After traveling so far over a rough, unpaved road, Room 123 made the experience feel not worth the time, effort, or money. The property has tremendous potential, but this room needs serious attention.

Liked: Everything is breathtaking! The most beautiful hotel in the Sacred Valley. Staff is amazing, the Spa is top and the facilities and service is amazing.

Disliked: The old Church in the middle of the hotel gives you a sensation of being in another era with nature surrounding it and giving you just peace.

Liked: Beautiful property and grounds. Food at the hotel restaurant was amazing. Staff was very helpful and genuine. Love the movie popcorn.

Disliked: Rooms can use a bit of updating.

Liked: The facilities and the hotel grounds were lovely.

Disliked: The service from employees unfortunately did not match the facilities. When we checked in, the hotel employee walked us to our room, did not help with our luggage, and did not bring our room key with him. We had to wait for him to go back to the front desk to get us a room key, and then he only made one for the four of us, which meant that none of us could go to the fitness center or wander the grounds without all of us going together. Later we called for more bottles of water, and we asked for six bottles but they would only give us four. Finally, at breakfast the next morning, it took more than 40 minutes to get two lattes. We had to ask multiple servers many times to finally get them. Overall very disappointing service from a very expensive resort hotel.

Liked: Beautiful gardens and facilities We enjoyed the spa, the cinema and the gym. A lovely treat after a long travel journey

Disliked: We were passing through so the location wasn’t an issue - but this might be for travellers who stay longer and want to walk anywhere. No nearby shops or restaurants.
