“It was very comfortable.”
We came to Asahikawa to see our favorite artist's live performance as a couple. We made the reservation a few months ago and chose a plan that included breakfast. At the time of booking, we could only get a smoking room, but when we inquired at reception about changing it, they were able to accommodate us with an available room change. The morning buffet was held at the top floor lounge with a great view, and we were able to enjoy everything deliciously.

“The Art Hotel has been around a while but the rooms have been renovated and the views spectacular”
Liked: Everything about the vintage high-rise hotel was lovely except the location, if you would want it to be closer to the railroad station. We traveled by car, so this was not an issue.

“Convenient for moving around, ramen from the morning.”
The breakfast buffet is delicious, with a wide variety and a refreshing morning moment with a view of the mountains. The mini ramen is highly recommended. Try it with a light soy sauce. The bus stop to Asahikawa Station, Asahiyama Zoo (depending on the season), and Asahikawa Airport is just a one-minute walk away. It's convenient. The pillow supports the neck well. You can reach the shopping street on foot easily. The soy sauce at the North Kitchen in Aeon at Asahikawa Station is fantastic.

“A refreshing morning buffet that lifts your spirits.”
This is a slightly old hotel located near Tokiwa Park, which also has a banquet hall. The views from the top-floor restaurant, which serves as the breakfast buffet venue, are great, and the menu is abundant and delicious, featuring local steamed vegetables. The large public bath is also free of charge. The facilities might be a bit old, but the rooms are spacious, and the staff provide courteous service. When I lined up to ask if I could freeze my ice pack, the staff came right away to assist me. There are many hotels in the surrounding area, but overall, this hotel is reasonably priced and recommended for couples, married couples, and business travelers.

“I’d stay here again”
Liked: Good hotel if you have a car to go sightseeing. Nice public bath to soak the bones.
Disliked: The rooms and hallways need to be updated.

“Good location”
There are some restaurants closed to the hotel, offering many choices for breaskfasts and dinners. Easy to purchase children’s goods and clothes in Shopping malls and stores. Room is clean. The most brightest indoor bath ever seen, baby friendly and operated till midnight. It is nice for travellers to relax after dinner but no need to be rush.
