Ascott Jakarta

Love how friendly and accommodating the staff at ascott jakarta. They are very customer centric. The hotel is well maintained and the location is superbbb. Next to grand indonesia and beside thamrin!

Our second stay at Ascott Jakarta, this time in a two-bedroom apartment, and another lovely experience! Love the location, and the concierge guys are the best—always polite, helpful and hardworking. A special thank you to Novi, who did a great job cleaning our room. The only little disappointment was that the lobby coffee machine had no milk for two days, so only black coffee was available. That coffee is usually one of the highlights of my stay, hahaha! Otherwise, always a pleasure staying here.

1) Room is large but a bit dated. If the management can consider to refurbish 2) Location very good as Grand Indonesia Mall and Thamrin City are just across the hotel. Only think is the traffic is chaotic during peek hours around ( Normal for Jkt ctr). The securities will assist you to cross to GI mall. 3) Breakfast choices limited but still nice. 4) Staff are all polite and will greet you when passed by. 5) Hotel facilities are the standard one 's not use so cannot comment.

I have stayed at Ascott properties and always trusted the brand name, so I was especially disappointed with my experience at Ascott Jakarta. The rooms look very different from the photos. The lighting in mine was harsh, cold fluorescent white light. There was an unpleasant musty smell in the room. The room was not entirely clean. Even though mine was a non-smoking room, the corridor reeked of cigarette smoke. I can accept the hotel being old, but I can’t accept that it is neither clean nor comfortable. The gym facilities are old; the weights not clearly labeled. To give credit where it’s due — the staff were helpful and tried to transfer me to another room. This wasn’t available on the first day. After I endured an uncomfortable last night, I decided to cut short my stay and move to another hotel. For this price point and the Ascott name, this experience was not acceptable. I am still waiting to hear from the property.

Nice
