Asitane Life Hotel

We booked a room based on the photos shown on Agoda, but upon arrival, we were given a different room. We booked a room with one double bed, but instead we were given two separate single beds. The room was very small and cramped, and the bathroom was also very narrow. There was also a lot of noise from the cars outside, which made it difficult to relax. Overall, the room did not match what we expected from the booking photos.

Liked: Excellent city location.

Disliked: No dayli clean up of room, no garbage disposal. Very week air-conditioning. Not sucuficuent toilet paper

Liked: Central to Sultanahmet so great location which of course comes at a cost on a busy street; Excellent value of course if a little tired as a room but the friendly owners made us feel very welcome and a super little market on the ground floor has everything you need.

Disliked: a tight fit in the room but such superb value for money.

Liked: Only location

Disliked: The room is terribly dirty, never cleaned. We celebrated the new year in Istanbul, which means it was winter during our vacation and there was no heating. The whole room has a slope, a drop as if it is standing on an angle. Towels never replaced. Only the location is good. The “hotel” does not have an elevator, be careful.

We are couple they have given us single bed. And the worst was there staircase…

The hotel is walking distance in Sultanamet area and easy to access with public transport from airport. The room was decent size and clean. This is the second time I come to this hotel. Good value

Liked: Very close to the main tourist destination

Disliked: It would be great if the rooms had a deep clean, there was dust everywhere. The curtains and netting needs need regular washing. Dusting behind radiators and tops.
