Very disappointed with the service. I booked a Deluxe Queen Bed, but upon arrival, I was told that all those rooms were already booked and was given a single-bed room instead. I also requested a one-hour late checkout, but the receptionist refused, saying another guest was waiting for the room. My checkout was at 12 PM, while the next check-in was at 3 PM, so I honestly don’t understand why even one extra hour could not be accommodated. For the price we paid, the service was extremely disappointing. This was a complete waste of money, and the customer service was far below expectations.

Hi! I would like to make a complaint regarding the service we received from the receptionist. We was treated in a rude and unfriendly manner when I approached the reception desk.I felt that the way I was spoken was disrespectful and made me uncomfortable. I hope the management can look into this matter and address the issue with the staff involved.

The newly renovated amenities are great and quite clean. Our room’s water heater apparently does not work properly, but it was not that big of a deal in the dry season. In terms of location, it’s near(-ish) to Farrer Park MRT (about 450 m), but the sidewalk situation is mixed so if you’re carrying luggage when checking in/out it’s advised to take a taxi/ride-hail or the bus since it’s closer.

Fire alarms were falsely triggered 4 times from 12AM to 4AM due to electrical wiring issues according to hotel staff (No acknowledgment or explanation was provided without me specifically asking for it) The staff did not even offer apologies (or any empathies really) for the completely sleepless night caused by hotel maintenance oversight. It’s like they want to dismiss the conversation asap. When asked about what the hotel will do, they said they can do late checkout (still no apologies by the way), which is just hilariously insulting. Then they will avoid eye contact as much as possible and tell you it won’t happen tonight. Honestly if there’s a hint of apology without the dismissive attitude, I probably wouldn’t even bother to write a review here or ask what the hotel can do in the first place Oh yea and for a unit “with window”, the outside was completely dark throughout the day. No difference from living in a basement. Either the space outside is too boxed in or it’s just completely enclosed. I always pick rooms with windows over cheaper ones without. I guess my scam detector wasn’t sharp enough. Lots of drain flies too. And the rate wasn’t even particularly cheap compared to that of other comparable accommodations in my trip either… Would recommend if the alternative is living on the street and you don’t mind the slum experience.
