Disliked: Woken up at 7am multiple days by unannounced workers. Shower hardly functioned.

El hotel no debería ni ser 1 estrella, es viejo, está mal mantenido, entre pelos en la cama recién tendida, pedí almohada extra porque la que había es muy fina, me dijeron que tenían que buscarla y nunca me la dieron. Hay muchas mejores opciones por el mismo precio. Escogí este porque las fotos parecían buenas, pero solamente están bien sacadas

TLDR: -someone opened our door -no hair dryers available -no additional TP in the room We stayed at Embajador a week ago. Upon arriving, we requested if it’d be possible to have a double bed instead of singles. We were told they weren’t sure if they could accommodate our request (it was fine if they couldn’t) but that we should ask again in the morning. The next day someone opened the door to our room and then closed it. We couldn’t see who it was, there was no one at the door and the cleaning cart was not there, so it was not room service. I went downstairs to check and they said it must have been room service (unannounced?) but that they would check. In order to reassure me that no one would go in again, they unlinked all cards to the room and gave me new ones. Ileft the hotel for a couple of hours and when I came back they told me it had been maintenance who had come in, to change the single beds into a double one. I could not comprehend how they would come into the room without announcing themselves or checking with me first. They were upset that I had complained about someone going into the room when it was to accommodate something I had requested and they were annoyed because they had tried to change the beds again while I was out and couldn’t because my clothes were on the bed. Again, up until that moment, no one had confirmed they would be able to accommodate my request, otherwise I would have left the room ready for that! Anyway, it all went downhill from there, they were less than helpful, no additional TP was given and no hair dryers were available in the room. One night I got to the hotel swamped after a storm unleashed, and asked for a hair dryer, they said they didn’t have any available because they were all lent. On the other hand, the breakfast was good, location was excellent and the view from the hotel room was ideal. All in all, due to the poor customer service I would not recommend and will definitely not return.

Location is the key. Exceptional staff.
