Looks like a beautiful location. Sadly I couldn’t travel to northern Pakistan due to health issues. So I did not stay here.

“Overrated and Overpriced room (after upgrading) and tour”

Liked: Nice view, the reception hall and dinning area are beautiful, some staff are very kind (especially the ones working in the kitchen)

Disliked: I book 2 night (had 2 booking, one day each), and find out the room is equipped with a squat toilet, so I ask owner to upgrade my room that equipped western toilet, he offer me a room with near triple price of my original booking price, claimed it had nice view and free breakfast. I want to take a hot shower next day morning, failed 3 time (no hot water coming out from the shower, i was told I have to wait for one hour, after one hour, still no hot water, finally they bring me a barrel of hot water, I have to mixed the super hot water with cold water to get a “hot shower “. The owner also offer me a tour for 17000 rupees to visit some place in Upper Hunza) later I learned from a traveler from other hotel has a exactly same tour, go to same places with a private car just for herself, and paid 9000 rupees I am a backpacker, but feel like a fool by overpaying so much - listen learned

“Will never come back to this place again”

Liked: Nice view, the reception hall and dining area has comfortable setting, the people working in the kitchen are very kind

Disliked: Overpriced accommodation and tour I booked 2 night here but I found out the room has only squat toilets that I am not comfortable with, so I upgraded my room, the owner offer me the room with a balcony and free breakfast for 10000 rupees/per night (I paid almost triples compared to my original price ), I tried to have hot shower next day morning, failed 3 time, finally they bring me a basket hot water so I have to mixed the hot/cold water by myself to get a “hot shower “! The owner also offer me a typical tour to upper Hunza, again he charged me 17000 rupees ( I learned from a traveler from different hotel later, she had the exactly same tour (private car and guide just for herself,) she paid 9000 rupees to the hotel she stay I am a backpacker, felt like fool by overpaying so much - listen learned!
