“Fix your room”

Worst experience. Cockroach in the toilet and apartment, dirty pillow, aircond remote not functioning, remote tv not functioning. Not a pleasant stay. How can you release such room to the guest? Please improve the facilities and housekeeping.

“Above average”

I am quite disappointed with my stay at Bayou Lagoon Park Resort. We stayed at the resort with three kids, expecting a fun and enjoyable family getaway. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. As hotel guests, we expected swimming pool access to be included in the room rate. However, we were required to pay an additional entrance fee per person, which made it even more expensive for a family with three children. What made it even more frustrating was that we also had to rent towels at the pool, as towels from our hotel room were not allowed. To make matters worse, the swimming pool water was dirty and did not appear to be properly maintained. Considering that guests are required to pay extra to use the pool, I would at least expect clean water and well-maintained facilities, especially when children are using them. I find these additional charges unreasonable, especially for families who have already paid for their accommodation. Swimming pool access should be included in the room rate, or at the very least, all additional charges should be clearly communicated before booking. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. We chose this resort hoping our three kids would have a wonderful time, but the unexpected charges and poor pool cleanliness really spoiled our family getaway. I hope the management will reconsider these policies and improve the cleanliness and maintenance of the swimming pool. Definitely not the family-friendly experience we were expecting.
