Beijing XinQiao Hotel

Great location! Novotel is conveniently situated near Beijing’s major attractions, including the Temple of Heaven and the Forbidden City. The room is spacious and comfortable, and they also offer a buffet breakfast with plenty of choices. Another plus is that the hotel is close to shopping malls and surrounded by lots of restaurants and food options. The staff can also speak English, making communication easy and convenient for international guests. Overall, a great place to stay if you want easy access to sightseeing, shopping, and dining!

Old hotel, it should be rated as 3 star.

This hotel just next to a metro station. The staff are very helpful and efficient, language no problem. The room is clean with all amenities available. Close to very lively shopping areas.

I chose to stay at this hotel because of its location, as there is a metro station right in front of the hotel. There are also a few restaurants and a bakery just opposite the hotel, and it takes only 5–7 minutes to walk to a nearby shopping mall. Early check-in is not possible here. Front staff asked us to check in at 2 PM as usual. For the room, it was spacious enough for two people, but the restroom had a bad smell throughout our stay. I was also disappointed by the level of service. None of the staff offered to help us carry our luggage since the arrival day. I don't mind carrying my own bags. What was completely unacceptable, when my sister parked a rental bicycle in the wrong spot. The staff simply told us to move it rather than offering any assistance. My sister had to move it herself ( the bike was already locked after payment and couldn't be rolled). Also they don't have a proper space for storage guest's luggage after check-out, which I think it's not safe. Overall, the stay was fine since we were out all day.

No sofas to sit in lobby. Staff very unhelpful and can’t speak English

Next to the subway exit A but there’s no convenience stores nearby. There’s quite a lot of dust.

Choosing Beijing Xin Qiao Hotel for this trip was definitely the right decision. A big thank you to the housekeeping staff who cleaned our room every day. It was always a pleasure to return to a clean and tidy room after a long day out. The location is excellent and makes getting around Beijing very convenient. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit. However, there was one unpleasant experience that I feel is worth mentioning, although it doesn’t change my overall positive impression of the hotel. One of the reception staff members, ***, made both my family and me feel very uncomfortable. We politely asked her, with a smile, how to get to the airport from the hotel, but her facial expression and dismissive attitude made us feel that we weren’t being treated with even basic courtesy and respect. We were very disappointed by her attitude. As an international hotel welcoming guests from all over the world, I believe the standard of service should reflect that. Unfortunately, her attitude fell well short of what we would expect.

I recalled i have the package of half of my stays with windows and half without windows. However when i checked in, i was only able to assigned room without window! becareful of the trap booking this hotel if they offer similar! BIG WARNING! I SHOULD HAVE ASKED FOR REFUND!
