“Review from the stay”
The accommodation I booked looked like a standalone house in the photos, but what I actually found was a two-story row of rooms. The condition was unlivable and not as advertised. The entrance was terrifying — coming alone felt dangerous. I booked without checking the route, my own mistake for coming. The room was okay and the air conditioning was cool, but everything looked extremely old and falling apart. There were no amenities at all. At the back they were keeping ducks — it was disgusting, they should probably be shut down. I couldn't cancel because I’d already paid, and the owner only replied that they didn’t know anything. I wanted to leave but had to stay because I couldn't get a refund. If you’re coming, please check first — consider this a warning. It shouldn’t even be called accommodation; the reality is unacceptable. I’m really upset — they should close it down. Terrible. Don’t stay here. I’m resigned to staying, but whoever comes next, check carefully.

“Above average”
There were a lot of flies — they kept buzzing over the bed and around the room, about 20–30 of them. I had to keep swatting and killing them all over the room. The staff only said it was because the hotel is near a chicken farm.

“Spacious place, wide room.”
The entrance area might feel a bit isolated. Considering the price, the place is appropriate, and the service is homey—if the staff are diligent, it's fine.

“Good value for my money.”
I did not stay in a cottage by the lake, but in a larger building near to it. Could park in front of my room. Room is spaceous. Fridge is tiny. A bit isolated, so you need your own transportation. Nearest 7-eleven at 3km.

“Acceptable”
The photos and the price were completely different from reality — not as advertised. I booked 4 nights (Feb 12–16). When we arrived the place looked abandoned. I asked to upgrade the room and pay extra; the elderly woman on duty called the owner and they agreed to charge me more. I paid and checked in, but I only stayed one night because the surroundings were scary — no guests, dirty, a foul fishy smell, and no proper front-desk staff. In short, the place is deserted; only a few people come to fish. I paid the full amount and asked for a refund from the hotel, but have not received a response. In the end I stayed 1 night at a cost of [amount] baht for a terrible stay. Be careful if you plan to come here — I made the mistake and was left disappointed, having traveled from Ubon and lost both money and time.

“Old room, difficult access.”
The room is very old. The bathroom is separate from the room. The access road is a dirt/gravel road, far from the main road and very dark. It’s far from convenience stores and restaurants. The staff’s service is poor. I do not recommend staying here.
