Liked: Location good with Coles, train station and coffee shops all a 5 min walk. Plenty of off street parking. It was a Saturday night and there was some noise it didn’t bother us and stopped before midnight. Young man from downstairs personally showed us to our room. Lovely old character features and great room size.
Disliked: Used coffee cups next to sink with sugar / tea wrappers still there suggested that it wasn’t cleaned properly after last guest.
Liked: Staff were fantastic (especially the young man who works mornings and afternoons) - when I arrived to drop my bags, he kindly agreed to help call the police if I wasn't back from my hike by a certain time. The manager who checked me in was lovely as well. Rooms are huge, bathrooms likewise plus practically brand new. Good water pressure from shower. Well equipped kitchenette. Unbeatable location close to the station
Disliked: No hairdryer. A bit noisy when the bar/restaurant closes at 1am. Check in is confusing (via bottle shop as there is no actual lobby)
