Liked: Very pleasant property! The staff was helpful. The room had a view ( albeit distant) of the wall. We had 3 meals at the property, all excellent. The shuttle to the wall is very practical.

“A wonderful stay away from the city”

Liked: Brickyard is a retreat located in a more rural part of Beijing and it was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of city life. Since it is a retreat, do expect that there is no TV in the rooms. Overall, it was a comfortable stay though a bit on the pricier side. Nonetheless, the staff are all very friendly and the retreat also provides free transport to Mutianyu Great Wall.
