Buri Sriping Riverside Resort and Spa

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel - was the best one out of the 3 hotels I stayed at. The room was EXCEPTIONAL - clean, well-maintained, and luxury hotel-like. The hotel itself is old, but maintained so well. Staff were incredible, so friendly and caring - shout out to Gift, who was absolutely amazing. The only downside was that the breakfast was slightly limited in options and the view river is not as great as you think (the water is brown). Overall, highly recommend this hotel and it's at such great value!!!

Liked: The staff really does everything they can to help and be service-oriented, but the facilities need way more attention than they're getting. There is a washing machine and a dryer available at the hotel. Every day we stayed at the hotel, we went out for full-day activities, and it’s a good thing we did.

Disliked: With all due respect to this hotel’s amazing "Instagrammable" photos on Booking and the lovely traditional vibe that tricked me into choosing it over another hotel (Too bad), I honestly don't get how this place is rated 5 stars. I’m not sure if it's the northern location or being so close to the river, but the rooms are constantly full of humidity. Our clothes felt moist all the time. Plus, the walls are dark and the lighting is way dim, so if it's even a bit cloudy outside, the whole stay becomes gloomy. the layout of these rooms within the hotel itself is just completely unacceptable. Fine, so the hallway side - where you don't really spend any time anyway - faces a busy street full of ugly garages, and right in front of the room entrance, there are utility poles packed with massive transformers and tangled wires. But you’d at least expect the balcony side to be pleasant so you could air out the room, right? Not at all. Instead, the balcony literally faces a wall with kitchen exhaust chimneys. Although they did make an effort to place all three of our rooms next to each other, the price definitely should have been much lower to reflect this. Even with the double doors that are supposed to block out the noise, you can hear the traffic—not to mention the packs of stray dogs that come out of the garages at night and just bark their heads off in the street. Breakfast was super basic. You could tell they were being really stingy with the amounts. The staff is polite, but they just don't have much to work with.

Liked: River & mountain views are amazing, and rooms are comfortable.

Disliked: Shared spaces and breakfast options were bit limited.

Liked: It was beautiful and the staff were very courteous and helpful

Disliked: Maybe the location it is by the river but a little out of the main area but travel to get around was very cheap

Buri Sriping Riverside Resort and Spa is a clean and comfortable place to stay with excellent service. The price is reasonable, especially for international travelers, and the resort is popular with foreign guests. If you stay on a lower floor, you may occasionally hear footsteps from the room above. The resort is also quite far from entertainment areas, but this can actually be a positive point if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Overall, I would recommend this resort for anyone looking for a quiet place to relax, away from the nightlife and busy areas.

Liked: Location, pool staff were great. You felt welcome every time you walked in.

Disliked: The room smelled musty and damp. In fact the framed picture on the wall had mould inside the glass. We left the balcony door open to air the room whenever we could. Otherwise everything was neat and clean and well maintained although a little dated.

Liked: It’s a beautiful resort. Tropical gardens, lovely view to River. Breakfast buffet was excellent. The pool is salt water and perfect to unwind after all day of taking and sightseeing. They have very convenient do it yourself laundry facility. The room, bathroom and bed were super comfy. Each room has a generous balcony. We had a regular room plus the family suites. Family suite had an amazing big picture window in front of the bed looking at the river and a full size fridge (room 201). We kept it full with drinks from seven eleven.
