Disliked: We likethe hotel very much; however, this is our second time staying there. Again, we were given the same room. The noise was terrible.

“Great location in a nice area with helpful staff”
Liked: The hotel is in a good location. It was 10 minutes walk to the Gothic Quarter and Casa Battlo. It was 30 minutes easy walk to Barceloneta beach and plenty transport options nearby. The hotel was nice and clean. The air conditioning was working which was needed due to hot weather, although it was in need of an upgrade. The staff were very helpful and nice.
Disliked: The air conditioning is in need of an upgrade. It's working, however it's a bit noisy and sometimes it struggled to keep the room as cool as we liked it. Every time you return to the hotel you have to use your key room to access the hotel, although if the staff at reception see you, they will open the door for you. This is not a major issue, as there's someone at reception 24/7. Sometimes the room key would not work first time, you had to insert it a couple of times before it worked, but again, not a major issue as it would always work the second time. Just something to keep in mind and not panic thinking the key is unusable.

“I was pleased by the location, the service of the staff and the room. Everything I needed was there.”
Liked: The room was spacious, clean with all facilities needed. The location is excellent and breakfast was very good with a variety of food. They offered the transfer from the airport with an excellent car and a very helpful driver. Overall I was very pleased by the hotel.
Disliked: Some carpets in the corridors looked a bit used and could be changed. In the rooms also some of the furniture looked old. But it was not so important for me at least.
