Cafe Aroma Inn

Liked: Rooms were very small and we had Ac issues as the cooling was very poor. We called the staff I have posted his picture and came few times and checked. We appreciate the staff and service provided and food at the cafe was very good. We ordered Sri Lankan breakfast too for additional charge which was nice but fish curry portion size should have been better. Dinner what we ate at the property was tasty, nasi goreng by chef kumara despite being late hours he accommodated our request and prepared it. The mutton kuttu paratha was very tasty. Since we were in Sri Lankan for long time I have forgotten the most well behaved staffs name but I have shared his picture. He was a great guy and is an asset for cafe aroma. I had a wonderful stay at Cafe Aroma Inn. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and perfectly located, just a short walk from the lake. What truly made our stay special was the exceptional hospitality from Mary and Bandara. They were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable about the local area, and always happy to recommend great places to eat, including excellent vegan-friendly options. My friend stayed for one night, and they were very accommodating and attentive to every need. Their genuine warmth and outstanding service made us feel right at home. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The room has no windows. There was no hot water from the shower. The air conditioner made a strange noise. In the middle of the night, the shower suddenly started running. The facilities aren’t great, but the staff, the breakfast, and the location are excellent!

Liked: Location is at prime area - 3 mins walk to the Kandy Lake and all the tourists spots in the area. Accessible to bus station, city center, banks and restaurants. The restaurant also served best coffee and staff are most welcoming. The manager made sure to keep on checking if we need any thing and proactively offers assistance and tips to avoid tuktok overpriced fares. Room is standard and shower is great! Complimentary teas and bathroom vanity kits are well thought. They also have good elevators too.

Disliked: Maybe best to include breakfast in room package but anyway you can order in their restaurant anytime.

Its a value for money boutique hotel with a Cafe n Restaurant. My wife chose this property whilst doing her research for our Sri Lanka trip. We were pleasantly surprised and will recommend it. Rooms were clean n serviced regularly..Food was delicious and staff ever obliging. Shehan was our waiter in the evening and he went that extra mile. Will definitely come back
