“Cave Superior (Room 51): dark, musty, no signal, and no parking help”
Booked a Superior but due to Agoda's unforgivable error, the hotel received room type "Cave Superior" instead. And because it was Agoda's mistake, we couldn't request a room change and therefore this is a review for a Cave Superior room. The review is specifically for room 51 (probably the worst room in the entire property) but may apply to other cave-type rooms. After the sun sets, for all other rooms, there're pretty lights outside the door. It's well lit, you can see the door in the dark. For 51, you're led down a dimly lit dark staircase and you can't even see the keyhole to unlock the door without holding a torchlight in your other hand. And because you're in a cave room, there's no cellular reception (this means you're unable to receive any calls/SMSes) and you have to rely on the hotel's wifi. The hotel's wifi isn't great in the room, one side of the bed has decent signal, the other side closer to the standing bathtub has half the speed. I'm not sure why they've decided to diminish the wifi signal by hiding the wifi AP inside a cave wall behind a metal door behind a mirror at the coffee area instead of mounting it centrally on the ceiling of the room. These cave rooms are dark because it's dimly lit likely to sell the cave theme. Air circulation in the cave rom is bad. The air is still, humid, and musty. In the evening, after shower, you hang up your towel and go to bed. You shower in the morning before heading out and find that the towel is still damp. You do with it. After coming back from your activities, the moment you open the cave door, the smell hits you. It smells. We tried turning on the AC to get some air circulation but it was unusual because it kept turning off by itself after a few minutes. We called reception and they mentioned something like how the central system is set heating instead of cooling and so it doesn't work but they managed to get the technicians to make an exception and somehow get it working for us. This wasn't permanent, it stopped working again next time and we had to go through the same thing all over again. We had a rental car and read that the hotel has valet and they'd help us park. I read wrongly. Likely AI hallucinating or they've discontinued it. If you have a car, you're left to your own devices. One hotel employee did tell us, "if you need help we'll find someone to help you with parking". Then when we needed help finding space, another employee told us "If there's hotel parking available, park there, otherwise find your own parking around the hotel and walk to the hotel". So, if you drive, bear that in mind. There is no valet. You won't get assistance from the hotel for parking. Nearby parking space is a rare commodity. I feedback the issue for the dimly lit dark staircase down to the room door. I told them it's so dark that we can't see the keyhole unlike the other rooms. The hotel employee told us, "well, you can take out your phone, turn on the torchlight and unlock the door". I specifically asked if this is an issue and they didn't seem to think so until I insisted that it is. They told me they're not sure why the owner did not do anything about it. I told them I wish to submit a feedback to the hotel on the matter and they told me to leave a review on my booking platform which was really strange. I do hope that someone sees this review and forwards it to the owner since there're no channels for guests to submit complaints/feedback to the hotel via the hotel employees and have to rely on OTA reviews to get the owner's attention.

“Chic cave hotel”
A nice stay in the centre of cappadoccia. Great facilities and far from crowds. The breakfast is a good spread of Turkish breakfast, with many choices of eggs to order from. Be prepared for a lot of stairs!!

“The reception staffs: Aisha and Melissa ( dark long hair has a short band on her forehead) are very helpful and friendl”
Liked: Its location tugs away from the noise street. I find the property overall has charm.
Disliked: It’d be nice and thoughtful if the bathroom adds hooks so that towels and changing clothes can be hung for after shower and preparing.

“Exceptional”
It was a sudden decision to travel to Turkey, and at that time, all the hotels were fully booked, so I could only choose this expensive one. It turns out that expensive things have their reasons; the hotel service is excellent, they respond to emails promptly, address the issues we raised, and also help with luggage, booking airport transfers, and activities. The room is much more spacious than I imagined and is well-equipped. The terrace on the top floor allows you to capture the real-life version of Göreme town's thousand and one nights. I am very satisfied with this stay, and if I have the chance to return in the future, I will choose this hotel again. As expected, good things have no other drawbacks aside from being expensive.

“Very good”
Liked: The location is excellent, with easy access to all the restaurants and shops in town. The hotel also has a great rooftop patio, which is a perfect spot for watching the hot air balloons in the morning. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Plus great breakfast offering.
Disliked: The facility is a bit outdated, and unfortunately, the wooden floor in the restroom has started to rot. The location is very convenient, with easy access to restaurants and shops in town. However, the property is located right next to a mosque, which is something to be aware of. The morning call to prayer is extremely loud and starts around 5:30 AM, so light sleepers may have difficulty getting back to sleep afterward.
