“Adequate accommodation for a budget.”
Liked: Location was fantastic for what we needed. Loved having undercover parking, close to public transport, pub next door had great food, got lots of exercise walking up three flights of stairs from garage to room. Doors to room locked automatically and had latches on the inside for extra security. TV and wifi were great. Water in bathroom was hot. Microwave and kettle supplied, as well as coffee and sugar satchets.
Disliked: Unfortunately, we found cockroaches and other bugs in the room. Supplied with two towels for three people. Single bed mattress was very firm. Only had the bathroom sink to wash dishes, had to purchase dish liquid and hand soap (half a container of hand soap was supplied but it was watered down quite a bit). Only one set of cutlery, shower needs a good scrub, only one roll of toilet paper supplied (able to request more, given one roll at a time). Had a lot of rain whilst there and the building leaked in front of our door.

“Great location and value for money.”
Liked: Location and price of the motel, make this the ideal place to stay. We love that there is a pub for meals, just next door. And that it is within walking distance to the sporting precinct.
Disliked: The rooms have an unpleasant smell. It's like someone has previously smoked in the room. It is impossible to get fresh air into the room as the windows do not open.

“The worst hotel I've ever stayed in”
Liked: I liked that there was free parking.
Disliked: The room was absolutely filthy and had a horrible, overpowering smell of cigarette smoke. There were cigarette burn holes in the doona and stains throughout the room. We even found other people’s belongings left in the drawers, including makeup, syringes, medication and condoms, which was extremely disturbing and made the room feel unsafe and as though it had not been properly cleaned or checked between guests. The bedhead was broken, there was graffiti on the walls and coffee table, and much of the furniture was badly stained with substances I honestly did not want to identify. Even the bath towels had stains on them and did not look properly washed. The room had plates, utensils, wine glasses, instant coffee and a kettle, yet there were no coffee cups. When I went to reception to ask for cups, the staff member could only find one. My husband and I therefore had to share one cup, with one of us drinking coffee out of a wine glass. The overall condition of the room was shocking. Finding syringes, medication and condoms left behind, combined with the cigarette burns, graffiti, broken furniture, stained towels and filthy surfaces, made this easily the worst motel room I have ever stayed in. I would never stay here again.
