City of Art Venice LLoyd

Liked: everything was ok

Liked: The location was the only positive thing about the property. Unfortunately, the room had several maintenance and cleanliness issues.

Disliked: Unfortunately, the room had several issues. The light above the bed was not working, the wallpaper was peeling, the bathroom door was dirty, some bathroom tiles were damaged, and there was only one electrical socket. The air conditioning was also faulty. The room needs better maintenance and cleaning.

Liked: Nice and tidy hotel

Disliked: My key for room didn't work but receptionist was very supportive.

The hotel is neat, just a couple of hundred meters from Mestre station, in a hotel zone with 3 hotels. Reception is fresh with art objects, and a bright cheerful lady at the reception desk that seems to be working 24 hrs. Bathroom is very small. No tea kettle provided. Breakfast was arranged in a group hotel across the road. The road itself is quiet and has low traffic.

Liked: The location of this property is very convenient if you are driving to Venice. They have secure parking and the metro station is one block away. We were checking out before the sit down breakfast and they offered us a takeaway breakfast. The staff is very welcoming. There are some nice restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

Disliked: It’s a heatwave and the room was uncomfortably hot.
