Club Quarters Hotel in Philadelphia

Liked: The staff were very kind and knowledgeable. The location was excellent for us. We walked everywhere we wanted to go.

Disliked: The room was very small. While it had a microwave, refrigerator and a good coffee maker;there was no place to put our luggage so we used their ironing board. Our check in person was very helpful….a bit too helpful. Our room was to be on the top floor and had skylights only. She switched our room to a room on a lower floor with a window….that had no view. I wish she had asked us if we wanted to move first.

Liked: Lobby on second floor had a good coffee maker. Good location.

Disliked: The room was tiny and had the charm of a broom closet. Very sparsely furnished, no refrigerator or hanging closet for clothing. No hairdryer in the bathroom, which itself felt claustrophobic.

Liked: The hotel is in a great location. One can walk to all points of Center City. The room was smallish but completely sufficient to our need. The perk of this hotel was really nice coffee machine that made amazing coffee and was located right in the lobby. And since most people love hot beverage in the morning, the lobby was such a nice gathering spot that by the end of our two day stay we recognized other travelers and were able connect with them.

Disliked: Shower wasn’t cleaned, tint hairs in the shower. Toilet was stained and needs to be replaced. It’s a no frills place. Small space

Liked: Great location, nice service, spacious, busy lobby, good coffee. Room had everything we need, clean.

Disliked: Room was a bit small (although the ceilings were high!) Minor issue with having to walk across and switch elevators to get to room instead of taking elevator directly up. Wish could have had a little food section.
