Cocoon Maldives - All Inclusive

We stayed at Cocoon Maldives from 18 July to 1 August 2026 for a romantic getaway, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful experience. Having visited the Maldives for the ninth time, we have experienced many wonderful places, and Cocoon Maldives certainly gave us plenty of reasons to smile. The service was truly outstanding. Every member of staff contributed to the warm, welcoming atmosphere that made our stay so special. Our host, Ryaz, deserves a special mention for his kindness, attentiveness and genuine care. He was always ready to help and made us feel well looked after throughout our holiday. Having someone so thoughtful looking after us really made a difference. Our room was consistently clean and comfortable, providing the perfect place to relax and enjoy our time together. The overall atmosphere of the resort was lovely — peaceful, welcoming and ideal for couples looking for a romantic escape. The marine life was absolutely amazing! The beautiful ocean, colourful fish and incredible underwater world were among the highlights of our stay. The Maldives never ceases to amaze us, and the ocean around Cocoon was another wonderful reminder of why we keep coming back. We were also incredibly lucky with the weather. Despite travelling during the monsoon season, we enjoyed 10 consecutive days of wall-to-wall sunshine! We experienced some heavier downpours during the final four days, but they certainly didn’t spoil our holiday. It was simply a little rain and part of the tropical experience. Overall, we had a wonderful two weeks filled with sunshine, relaxation, beautiful ocean life and excellent service. Cocoon Maldives offered the perfect setting for our romantic getaway, and we left with lovely memories to treasure. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team, and especially to Ryaz, for making our stay so enjoyable. We would happily recommend Cocoon Maldives to couples looking for a beautiful island escape with attentive service, a relaxed atmosphere and an incredible marine environment.

The staff here are incredible and the food was truly amazing..

We stayed at Cocoon Resort for six days. All the staff members at Cocoon Resort were extremely kind, and our family created unforgettable memories. In particular, our dedicated manager, Riyaz, took careful care of our family throughout the entire six days. I sincerely thank the staff of Cocoon Resort and my friend Riyaz for giving us such unforgettable memories. Thanks, Riyaz!

Liked: Wonderful 10 days on this gorgeous island. All the staff were incredibly accommodating, warm and hospitable. Short seaplane journey from Male was nice and not too long at around half an hour. The reception we received upon exiting the seaplane was beyond words as the team sang and escorted all the guests to the reception for the beginning of what turned out to be a wonderful family holiday. The two bedroom villa was perfect for family trip, with its own pool and perfectly Located in the beach. Straight out from the villa into the ocean we had several snorkelling encounters with turtles, rays, black tip sharks and an array of different fish. The main Octopus restaurant served surprisingly delicious buffets of different cuisines each night and even did special menus for the little ones. We couldn’t be more impressed or grateful with the whole Octopus team. Mr Riyaz was always on hand to shuttle us on short journeys when we had the babies. Our boat trip was wonderful and although we didn’t try any of the water sports and excursions since we had young kids, there appeared to be plenty of options to choose from. The kids club came in handy to fill the odd half hour gap between activities/meals but because the rest of the island team set such a high bar, we did feel the kids club team could have been warmer and more hospitable. Thank you to the entire Cocoon team who beyond the gorgeous setting, facilities and food, really made this family trip absolutely incredible. Too many people to thank, that I’m sure I’ll miss many but special thanks to the pillars of our royal hospitality treatment Mr Ishadh, Mr Ahu and Mr Riyaz and of course Mr Afeef.

Disliked: Not much to dislike. And whatever issues arise the team were quick to resolve and we are aware there are significant upgrades coming. Looking forward to go back.

Liked: Our stay at Cocoon Maldives was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The island itself is breathtaking, the villas are beautiful, the food was fantastic, and every single member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. A very special thank you to our island host, Mr. Riyaz, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. He was always there whenever we needed anything, always checked in on us, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our holiday. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel so well looked after. We would also like to give a huge shout-out to the Dive In Adventure Watersports team. A special thank you to Bus and Rebecca for making our adventures so much fun. They were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made every activity enjoyable and memorable.

Disliked: Everything was good

Accommodation - awesome, Location - awesome, Staff - awesome, Kitchen - awesome. I usually struggle on vacation getting some plant based meals. In Cocoon they took great care of me. Chef was awesome, able to prepare lunch and dinner for me every day. I had never experienced this kind of service. For me this was best vacation every, walking beautiful beach - see a shark, ray, turtle. Accommodation was also perfect - air-conditioned, clean and spacious.

Liked: Thanks to Riyaz for looking after us during our stay. We stayed in two overwater villas, and he made everything easy. He was always around if we needed anything and was quick to help. Really appreciated how friendly and attentive he was. Thanks again, Riyaz!
