Collection O JA Siam City

I booked a standard room but it turned out to be unusable — the cigarette smell was very strong and the room had no windows. I asked to change rooms and paid an extra 100 THB to upgrade, which was acceptable. The new room was overall okay and clean, but when I opened the wardrobe there was a gecko inside, so I didn’t use the closet. There was also an incident where someone snuck into the towels, which was very startling. At night I saw an insect that looked like a baby cockroach in the bathroom and in the trash bin. Our room faced the road, so traffic noise was loud but still manageable for sleeping. The worst part was the strong cigarette smell in the hallway — it seemed like someone was secretly smoking outside their room. As a non-smoker, the smell bothered me quite a bit. Overall it was an acceptable stay. Aside from the small animal issues, the room was comfortable enough. The mattress felt a bit firm and you could feel the springs under the mattress, but it wasn’t a major problem. The location is on a main road, and it’s a bit difficult to find places to eat nearby — it could be inconvenient for people who don’t like to walk.

Budget-friendly. Some of the staff are lovely. The room is acceptable. You have to take a bit of a chance, but I wasn’t worried because we could tell the staff and they would take care of it.

I stay here often. Location is OK—on Sukhumvit Road, convenient for going on to other places. There are sometimes songthaews passing by but not as frequently as on Pattaya or Jomtien roads. The hotel is medium-sized, tending toward small, but convenient for staying. There’s an elevator and a swimming pool. The rooms are a good size. The air-conditioning is cold if set to 24–25°C; wait a bit and it cools well. There’s a mini-fridge, an electric kettle, and the phone may not be clear. There’s a wardrobe. The bathroom has soap and shampoo. The bed is a good size, not sagging or too hard, so it doesn’t cause back pain. There are two towels. Staff are OK—very helpful. Once I booked the wrong room and the staff upgraded me immediately. They also suggest places to visit and local festivals. Overall it feels good value. When I visit Pattaya I always stay here first.

Location is not much good It’s quite far from 7/11 The indoor pool isn’t much good too much chlorine but cleanliness is good

The room was good, clean, and spacious with no musty smell. I’ve stayed for a month and don’t plan to move elsewhere. The staff were lovely and available 24 hours.

I got a couple's room on the 5th floor, it's quiet and nice. There's parking space in the back. The refrigerator and air conditioning work fine. The staff is good, but the door is a bit hard to open; I had to have the staff explain how to open it. Overall, it's quite good.

The bed linens weren't very clean — I felt like there were dust mites and it was itchy all night. The water pressure was excellent. The building looks a bit old; there was damp in the corners of the room, peeling paint on the walls, and small cockroaches. The location is great, right in the city center, with easy access to transport. The price is cheap and very good value. The TV didn't work. The front desk staff were very friendly.

Very good value. If you're just coming to sleep and head out for errands, and don't need to spend much time in the room, this place fits the bill. There’s a TV, fridge, and hot water — though the TV only works in some rooms.
