“Good Budget Option”

Stayed here for a few nights to check out the city. There's a GO train station a few minutes' drive/bus away, or you can Uber downtown for around $30, either way it's a much better value to stay here and travel into the city than to stay downtown. The room was a bit musty but tidy. The shuttle from the airport was taking forever so we just grabbed an Uber; it's quite close by. Good breakfast with a mix of hot and cold foods and a spacious dining room. I selected 'pay at hotel' but was charged 1 night to my credit card prior to arrival. I was then charged at check-in but they wouldn't provide an invoice breaking down the charges. It was more than expected but this turned out to be a $100 deposit. In the end the charges were correct, I was just a bit nervous seeing my credit card charged twice (even a pending charge) without seeing a breakdown. Not a bad option at all, I would stay again.

“Good for what we needed.”

Liked: We had a cancelled flight and was able to get a room there. Shuttle was a great option. Was not at hotel very long. All staff was pleasant!

Disliked: Shuttle doors had wires exposed and seemed unsafe. Seemed dingy. This made us Leary of what the hotel conditions would be like. Hotel was good, seemed a little run down. Our bathroom corners were really dirty but rest of room seemed ok.

“A little bit far from the center but good value if distance to the airport is your main criterion.”

Liked: It was near the airport at a relatively good price

Disliked: My room door would open without the key card, the cleaning was not done properly, the staff were polite but not helpful and the restaurant did not appear to serve dinner.
