Comfort Inn & Suites

Disliked: The space under the sink had not been cleaned all the way back to the wall. There were towels and some other things back at the wall

Disliked: Walked into the place and immediately got hit with the smell of an old wet sock that had been forgotten behind a washing machine since 1997. Then we found the elevator. There was a CHAIR in it, taking up most of the available floor space. Why? No idea. Maybe it was for something to sit on while the elevator gathered enough courage to make it to the second floor. The doors barely shut and it took approximately 3 business days to go up ONE FLOOR. Halfway there, the thing started making noises that suggested we should probably be updating our wills. Then it finished the journey with a massive BANG, like it had successfully completed its final trip before retirement. The elevator door opened louder than Grandma’s cellar door during a tornado, and immediately we were blasted in the face with the unmistakable aroma of must, mold, mildew and wet basement a**. Then we saw the pool. Calling it a pool is generous. It looked more like a warm indoor fish tank somebody forgot to clean during the Bush administration. The entire second floor had the humidity of the amazon rainforest. Then we opened our room. You couldn’t see the other side of it. I’m not exaggerating, the room was so humid and musty it looked like somebody was smudging the place with a burning tractor tire while boiling 40 gallons of swamp water. I half expected Shrek to walk out of the bathroom wearing one of our towels. Everything smelled damp. The walls smelled damp. The BED smelled damp. I’m pretty sure I started smelling damp. We lasted about five minutes before deciding we’d rather sleep in the truck at a Flying J. Got our refund and got out of there before the mold developed enough intelligence to charge us a resort fee. Stay away. And check the toilet for cameras while you’re at it. At this point, nothing would surprise me. 🥴 ⭐️ 1/5 stars The elevator chair seemed comfortable.

Liked: The location was excellent because i was going to Yellowstone National Park. I appreciated that the hotel allowed up to three pets of any size because I was traveling with a cat and dog. The room was lovely but the staff were less than helpful.

Disliked: The water boiler stopped working so for two days I did not have hot water in which to shower. The elevator was not working properly so staff had to hold the door and then release it or the elevator wouldn't move.
