Friendly staff Clean room Best Value for money i had in Vietnam

I traveled alone, so I didn't need to choose places with very high prices. I saw that this place had many bad reviews, but I decided to give it a try. It turned out to be quite good for my needs. The accommodation is a bit old but clean, especially the bed and linens. Anyone traveling alone should choose this place because it's very close to the beach and the price is very affordable.

Liked: The location (near to the beach), staff and the cheap price of the room are great 👍. There's a lift too.

Disliked: Some noise comes from the outside with the construction machine, but the worst was the waves you feel and shake your bed. The place to put your luggage in the case are smaller than other backpacker hotels I visited

Liked: The second room matched the listing photos much more closely. It's located on the 6th floor (take the elevator to the 5th floor, then walk up one more flight of stairs). My new bed had a much better view and offered more privacy.

Disliked: The building is quite old, and the hallway outside is narrow and a bit worn down. On my first night, I was assigned to a corner room shared with four other men—a security staff member, two foreign solo travelers, and one Vietnamese traveler. It looked nothing like the photos on the listing. There was only one bedroom, and the bathroom was already quite messy from previous use. I was given the top bunk, which was a little difficult to climb as a girl, and the room felt quite cramped. I asked if I could move to the room shown in the photos because I wasn't very comfortable with the first one, and the staff happily accommodated my request. I was hoping for a more social atmosphere, but I visited during the off-season, so most guests were locals and there weren't many solo travelers around.

The room is small and different from the pictures, the TV is not usable, the air conditioning remote likely has issues, it can only turn on and off but the temperature adjustment lags, the water for showering is extremely weak, especially the showerhead. When receiving the room, the floor was wet as if it had just been mopped, the room encountered water issues so check-in was delayed by nearly an hour. Earlier, the staff arranged another room for us to rest in, but that room was not cleaned yet. The bathroom was full of garbage so we couldn’t shower at all, and the bed sheets had a musty smell as if they were dried indoors without sunlight. I found a good deal on the app but it was disappointing.
