“3am in room *** i heard construction noises”
There’s very little loud construction noises from ceiling of unit *** also bathroom ceiling. I am pretty sure it’s knocking noises by hammer. No idea how it allowed to happen at Marriott. Definitely not by another guest unless he brought his own hammer. I can provide u videos with what went on almost 20mins. Had to run downstairs to front desk to complain mid night. Bcos the huge noise woke me up.

“Courtyard Melaka – New Hotel with Complete Facilities**”
The hotel is new, clean and well maintained, with complete facilities for a comfortable stay. Overall, I had a pleasant experience. However, although it is positioned as a 5-star hotel, I personally would rate it closer to a 4-star experience. The renovation, interior design and overall finishing feel more like a 4-star hotel rather than what I would expect from a 5-star property. The location is in the city centre, which is convenient, but it is not very close to the main tourist attractions. Most attractions are around a 5-minute drive away, so having a car or taking an e-hailing service would be more convenient. One downside for families is that there is no dedicated kids’ area, so there is not much for young children to do within the hotel. Overall, a good choice if you are looking for a new and comfortable hotel in Melaka with complete facilities, but I would not consider it a true 5-star experience.

“The right decision”
Had a 2-night stay on the weekend. Easy access, ample parking space, comfortable and spacious restaurant and lobby area. The room was great with a number of power outlets. Easy to charge your gadgets. Comfortable shower stall with a seating ledge in it.

“Exceptional”
I enjoyed my stay here! The hotel room is big and cozy, I stayed connecting room where one room has a big king size bed and sofa, and another is two double bed(bigger than single, smaller than queen, fits 2 asian adults still☺️) and room and bathroom is clean and even has a water filter for you to drink clean water 💦 Sazzu is really attentive and accomodating to our requests during check-in and patiently explained the rooms to us. 👍🏻 I will come here again to stay when I visit Malacca next time!

Liked: Friendly staff and an ideal location. I really enjoyed the wide variety of breakfast selections. There was a good choice of options, making breakfast enjoyable and satisfying.
Disliked: As a small suggestion, it would be great if housekeeping could check and replenish essentials such as hand wash before guests arrive. This little extra touch would make the stay even more welcoming and comfortable.
