Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport By IHG

Liked: It was only an overnight stay. The room was nice. Clean bathroom. Breakfast was decent.

Disliked: dont have any complaints. Was only there for the night and it was good.

Liked: Lots of room very friendly staff

Disliked: Nothing everything was excellent

Liked: Beautiful hotel with great facilities on site. Pool and gym. Was assigned a room on a floor close to the elevators and staff were very accommodating when I asked to move somewhere quieter. They put me on a quiet floor down the hall. Breakfast buffet was good too. shuttle to and from the airport was easy.

Honestly, the hotel was fine. Near to airport. Its just that, during my stay, my room was located to higher floor and they dont have available elevator so i need to bring and my luggage using stairs. Kinda hassle because they dont have available person to help me bringing my luggage in my room. The food was great for quick stay. Coz its the same day by day.

Liked: Proximity to the airport. Several restaurants within walking distance.

Disliked: It's a little tired. The room was fine, but no proper coffee making facilities. The worst thing was the non stop road hoise. The breakfast buffet was very poor. If you want quantity, great, but not if you want smaller and tasty.

Liked: The staff were good as was the shuttle bus service.

Disliked: On this trip to Canada I have now encountered some of the worst beds I've ever had in my life. This is the trend towards these very high beds which nearly come up to my waist as I am only 5'4". They are virtually impossible for me to get on to the bed in order to sleep nicely. More than that the mattresses have no support at the edge so you cannot use the bed to sit on to get changed or to be secure when you are getting on or off the bed. This is not just your hotel; I've experienced it in approximately five hotels on this trip and I have no idea why the hotels think the height this tall is actually a better bed. In addition the beds are often very soft, not orthopedic which is normally the best for when one travels a lot. I also found that the makeup mirror in the bathroom is positioned in such a way that it is extremely difficult to pass over or under it to plug in the hair dryer. It's simply has to do with where the mirror is located and it should be much further closer to the edge of the sink rather than close to the outlet. And while breakfast is included, it is too bad that the hotel does not offer a small takeaway breakfast for those who have early planes. Yes, I can have a cup of coffee in the room but nothing else although included in the room price.

Liked: Fantastic hotel at a reasonable price that is close to the airport. The free shuttle service to and from the airport was much appreciated. Room was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. Breakfast was tasty and included: fruit, yoghurt, coffee/tea, cereal, a variety of bread and some hot items. The staff was super helpful with my request for late check out and this could be facilitated at an additional cost. I will definitely stay here again when I have a layover at the Toronto Pearson airport.

Liked: Great location for our trip. Easy in and out off the highway. We needed two separate areas with beds and this easily accommodated that. We just stopped here mid travel home, so just an overnight sleep. This hotel was great.
