“Suitable for relaxation”
I went with small children and adults, and everyone liked this place. The playroom was newly renovated, there were many peacocks in the area, the canoe, kayak, and pedal boat services were good, the staff was friendly, and the rooms were newly repaired, bright, and clean. This is also the resort with the cheapest prices for food and drinks in the room that I have ever been to. However, this is the second time my family has returned, and the only aspect the hotel needs to invest in more is the lighting system in the area, as it is currently too dark. The villas under the pine trees do not get sunlight during the rainy season, making the moss slippery; however, there are no lights or the lights are very dim, making it hard to see. My parents slipped while going back to the room, and I had to turn on my phone to light the way... The resort should pay attention to this to avoid unfortunate incidents... We will come back!

“Disappointed”
I came to this resort so we can spend time with friends, but they put us separate rooms apart. I was also disappointed to hear that with staying at a five star resort that all activities were separate costs like going to the sauna, playing tennis, kayaking, canoeing, and archery for each separate prices per person. Usually, I would prefer to stay at a resort with all those amenities be part of staying at the resort. I’ve never experienced anything like this. Would never stay here again.

“Nice escape from the city”
We booked the room with 2 bedroom and a little living room. The hotel was very nice. The main hit for us was the little path next to the lake and the boat tour. We thought it was unfortunate that the pool was not heated up (and thus not useable) and you need to know in the rainy season (beginning of october in our case), the rooms are quite humid and feel cold (but they are equipped with small heaters so it s ok). All in all, a nice place.

“Terrible hotel”
The room had a intense chemical smell that gave us a headache and was very damp, the blankets were wet from the dampness. They played loud music most of the night and my baby could not go to sleep. The first day there was a very nice man working reception, he was very nice to us but the second day it was a very rude fat lady in a bad mood at reception, no smile just looked angry and she said there was a stain on a hand towel, she was just giving us trouble on purpose trying to ruin our day, it was a very old towel, wasted 30 minutes of our time for this stupidity. Then check out is at 12:00 but the shuttle is at 2:00, what's the point, wait 2 hours? This place was not worth the price, the pool was not heated, you cannot walk near the lake, i want my money back. Avoid this hotel at all cost!

“Beware: Audit your room inventory immediately upon arrival, or get scammed at checkout”
If you make the mistake of staying at Dalat Edensee Lake Resort, do not unpack your bags until you conduct a full, meticulous inventory audit of your room—because this self-proclaimed "5-star" property will shamelessly squeeze you for missing items upon checkout. I have never witnessed such an insulting, penny-pinching operation disguised as luxury. Honestly, budget guesthouses treat their guests with far more dignity, common sense, and basic decency than this place. Beyond the terrible service, their shower room has a very slippery floor and poses a serious danger of slipping. I nearly fell myself. It is completely hazardous, especially for older people and young kids who could easily suffer a severe fall due to the lack of proper traction or safety measures. Upon checkout, housekeeping ran a room inspection and claimed a tiny face towel was missing, demanding 70,000 VND or about USD3/-. When I pointed out the sheer absurdity of this and noted that guests are never asked to verify an inventory list at check-in, the receptionist, ***, snapped back with outright hostility, arrogantly asking why I hadn't counted the towels myself when I entered the room. Let that sink in: at Dalat Edensee, paying luxury rates means you are expected to do the housekeeping supervisor's job and count washcloths, or face an aggressive shakedown at the front desk over less than $3 USD. To all future travelers: Check and document every single towel, amenity, and glass the exact second you open the door. Report any missing piece to the front desk immediately, or prepare to be treated like a suspect and forced to pay for housekeeping discrepancies you had nothing to do with. ***'s combative, insolent attitude is an embarrassment to hospitality, and management should be ashamed of running what feels like a cheap extortion trap. Utterly disgraceful. Avoid this property.

“One of the most beautiful places in the world”
Edensee Dalat is set on a hillside overlooking a beautiful, quiet lake. They have a kilometer-long lakeside walking path that is breathtaking in its natural beauty. The rooms are large, the included breakfast buffet is amazing, the rest of the resort is spacious and beautiful, and there are more peacocks than people. More birds and flowers than anywhere else. Also, tennis, pickleball, kayaking, paddle boats, fishing, archery, pool tables, foosball, and a separate room for video racing. A free shuttle to Dalat, about 17 kilometers away. All for **** per night. Fantastic. My favorite place in the world.
