Liked: The location is good. The young girl at the reception provides excellent service -- when she is not prevented from doing so

Disliked: Mosquitoes! I had to checkout early because of this problem. I waited for 3 whole days for them to get the mosquito spray, but the woman manager seemed to prevent the younger girl from buying it. Details: as soon as I mentioned it to the younger girl, she said they had run out of the mosquito spray. She is so cool that even at 10:30pm at night she instantly started getting her motorbike out to go buy the spray. Unfortunately I told her she could go in the morning as I didn't want her going out at night. It seems in the morning the senior manager blocked her from going to buy it and for 3 days both of them kept making excuses on why they were unable to go buy the spray to fix the problem. Finally I had to checkout early after suffering mosquito bites for 3 days just because the woman manager consciously and actively didn't want to fix the problem.

Liked: The younger girl at the reception is simply amazing. She fulfilled every request enthusiastically and with care.

I booked here twice. The first time a female staff member assigned me room ***, but when I used the key card it didn't open. I went downstairs to tell her and she took the card, did something on the computer, handed it back and told me to try again, but it still wouldn't open. The third time I brought it down she said to wait while she sent the room key. After waiting two hours with no key, she called the other side and still couldn't get it (even though earlier she had said it would be shipped over in about 15 minutes). She told me to go into a two-bed room on the 1st floor because there was no key; the room hadn't been cleaned and looked like nobody had stayed in it for a long time. It was late, so I had to stay there. The female staff on the evening-to-night shift had very little knowledge—she mostly just sat there and handed cards to guests. When I asked questions she would go blank like she didn't know anything. The second time I came, they said there were no rooms available, even though I had booked earlier in the week and had received no notification. When I arrived they told me there was a system problem. So everyone, pay attention to 159 Pham Thai Buong and avoid this hotel and this staff member.

Liked: Close to shopping, close to restaurants

Disliked: The room Dusty and dirty had to call them to come and clean, missing kitchen supplies pot and pan the floor is in bad shape tile lifting

Unfortunately people smoked in the hotel which makes the hallways smell really bad. They offer a cooking utensils however it was dirty with no dish soap provided. The cooking utensils is a fork, spoon, plate, cups, with a small pan. No knife,no bowl, and the spatula provided was dirty. If they upgrade the cooking utensils so you can actually cook and control the smoking, this hotel would be a great place to stay
