DeLaSea Ha Long Hotel - Modern Bayview Escape

* Pros: Beautiful view, convenient location for getting around * Cons: - The room has few lights, especially the bathroom; there isn’t enough light for a woman to put on makeup - No iron in the room - The elevators don’t have indicator lights, so it’s a bit inconvenient to know which one is arriving - Breakfast is not very appealing, and the breakfast hours end somewhat earlier than at many other hotels

All good, cheap price

Liked: My room was on the top floor 25th my view was breathtaking 😍 could see the whole bay at day& at night was amazing! Room was beautiful shower nice & big! Was worth my stay highly recommend it xxx

Liked: The staff were fantastic. Very accommodating and friendly.

Disliked: There was nothing that I didn’t like

The staff took care of us quickly and well. The price fits the rooms and the hotel's location. The room was clean and quiet—perfect for a couple like us.

My kids and I stayed here; the rooms were very clean and well-equipped. The location isn’t too far from the beaches, restaurants, or cafés. Getting a ride was also very convenient. I will come back.

None of our whole group wants to return to DeLaSea Ha Long Hotel - Modern Bayview Escape on future trips. Marks deducted for all the issues: Service, Reception, Rooms, Breakfast.

This was our first time booking DeLaSea Ha Long Hotel - Modern Bayview Escape because it had many bookings and fairly good reviews on Agoda. However, our family of six was disappointed with what we received at this hotel: - Check-in time was far too late: we only officially got the room at 3:30 PM after many guests had to wait exhausted. - The front desk had only 4–5 staff while the hotel has over 300 rooms and a large number of guests to check in. The desk was overwhelmed and staff were not professional in responding to guests (they kept saying only, “I’ll remind housekeeping to see if the room is ready”), repeating the same line over and over. - The lobby and rooms are worn and do not match a 5-star rating. - Breakfast: crowded and the food was very ordinary. We visit Ha Long every year and previous places we’ve stayed were much better. We have no intention of returning to this hotel.
