“Lovely accommodation a stones throw away from the lake”
Liked: We had a lovely stay at Desenzano Uptown Suites! From the start, communication was great and check-in was easy. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, including air-conditioning, plenty of clean towels and extra pillows. The bed was very comfortable. Location was great, approximately a 15 minute walk from the station and a 5 minute walk from Lake Garda.
Disliked: The only slightly negative point was that the sofa was not comfortable. (It is a sofa bed, which we did not open as we didn't need it, so I can't say if the bed function is comfortable or not.)

“Excellent”
Liked: Perfect location in quite calm neighbourhood. No dance clubs around so nights were silent. Cars have to go slowly in this area so also no aerodynamic noise was heard. Aircondition was in every room - but it took us a while to understand how to set it (one remote for all units). It was not super powerful, but kept rooms pleasant during outside temps of 36-40C. There is no elevator, but its just three floors - but if You are old or superobese - you may have troubles getting up:D Location is perfect - in walking range of everything important in Desenzano. Unless You are a person who cant walk for 1-2 kilometers - then you need to look for another location.
Disliked: Kitchen wares were cheapest possible, scarce and in pretty bad condition - especially knives. And as there was no sharpener available, it was not so easy to prepare some food. I would definitely encourage owner to buy more pots, knives, peeler etc. Its just a few euros.

“The place didn't leave a nice impession”
Liked: The place is near the center and the lake, making it easy to get there. Also parking spot was a nice thing to have.
Disliked: Four days before we got to the "Wonderful Italy", we got a message about the online chek-in, and so we wanted to obviosly do it before we get to the place. The booking message had all of the links removed, the email message had a broken button which didn't work as a link. We couldn't acces even the online guest area, so we started to call the company. First time we called, we have explained the issue and were told to just send our documents on the email of the company so they could do the check-in for us. We send the documents on the email that was on booking, which turned out to be nit the actual email that we needed to send our documents to. So, the next day after the first call we had another message that the online chek-in is waiting, and so we called the company again to try and solve the problem! This time we had to spell out or email tyrough a whole spelling bee game (tho it turned out that they still got it wrong), this time they were supposed to send us a new email with a proper link. The message about the online check-in poped up once more the same day evening, and so we called again! Tho, this time we got lucky and the lady on the other end was surprisingly good with english. She managed to get our email right without the long spelling game, and kindly guided us through the situation. We finaly got the email, send them documents and were told that THIS time they will do it manualy for us. No, they didn't do the online check-in for us even this time. Tho, when we called last time, they said that they got our email with the documents. We got another email with the NOW working link and finaly managed to do the whole thing by ourselves. But this isn't the last problem we had! If anything, it's the start of it. Once we finaly got to the place, got our keys and found our door, we were met with a problem of not being able to open the door. Turns out it is a bit jagged and you need to push it properly while opening.

“Exceptional”
Liked: It’s a beautiful and comfortable place to stay, in a great location. Desenzano is perhaps the prettiest town around Lake Garda. There’s private parking for your car right at the property. The apartment’s kitchen is well-equipped, including a Nespresso coffee machine. Wi-Fi works well.
Disliked: Poor communication with the accommodation regarding online check-in. We had to fill out a questionnaire that wasn't working; somehow the apartment changed, and at first it wasn't clearly explained what we were supposed to do. The accommodation didn't respond to messages on WhatsApp, but in the end everything worked out fine.
