Diyar Hotel

They asked for my marriage certificate and used it as an excuse not to let me stay. I also didn't get a refund.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The room was far from clean — the bedsheets looked used and wrinkled, the furniture was dusty and poorly maintained, and there were visible stains on the ceiling and walls. The overall hygiene was unacceptable. There was also a strong, unpleasant smell in the room that made it very uncomfortable to stay. The air conditioning didn’t help much, and the space felt neglected. From the photos, you can clearly see the poor condition of the room: damaged furniture, dirty surfaces, and signs of lack of proper maintenance. To make matters worse, the owner came to tell us that checkout was at 10:00 AM, even though we were expecting the standard 12:00 PM checkout. This was not communicated properly beforehand and felt unprofessional. Overall, I would not recommend this place. It needs serious improvement in cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service.

It was not like the pictures at all! Smelly dirty room I couldn’t stay more than 10 minutes and left the hotel for the look for a new one. I would rather stay homeless than staying in this hotel

I had one more night in Istanbul after my trip to Capadoccia, so I book the cheapest hotel in the area. But it turned a big mistake. Thay took us to another hotel arround the block which has similar name then we checked into a third floor room, lights in the bathroom didn't work so they gave us aonther room in the same floor. This room wasn't cleaned properly, shower base had mould and shower head was broken. Hot water wasn't turned on they said it would be fixed next day. Heating was off aswell

Stayed here a couple days to do some documents, it's a good price for the location, also the immediate surrounding area is nice and easy ti get some quick cheap food. Staff is also very relaxed and friendly, they gave us a bigger room than what we payed for which was a really nice thing to do. If you are passing by, or staying in Istanbul a couple days, I would recommend.

Not for the money, not even for the location.. it's worse than slumming it. Filthy Smelly Broken Aircon don't make air No toilet paper No bidet Metal poking you from old, smelly mattress No space to earn change your mind The smell of mould hangs in the air.. The furniture, the walls, the shower covered in grime..The fridge is trying to work..No windows to the outside. In fact we could possibly write a book on how we suffered through 4 nights... People shouting outside your door...and or having loud conversations. In fact I believe that Agoda should be made responsible for subjecting subscribers and untilisers of their platform, after all Agoda is a stake holder deriving an income of lies being peddled Sleep on the street you be better off.

The room was dimly lit, and some of the beds felt like they were floating. The sink drain still had hair and grime in it, which was disgusting, and I felt uncomfortable from the moment I checked in because someone — I don’t know if it was staff or the owner — kept touching my body. They also said, “I’ll give you a free massage, so take off your clothes.” After that they repeatedly entered my room without knocking because the door wasn’t locked. I do not recommend this hotel for a solo female traveler.

This is a SCAM. Very old place infected with pest... Owner aggressive and violent. It is a shame for Agoda to accept such listing
